Check out Arie’s new Instagram post. He either found it off the internet or somehow got a very close up, high definition shot of Lauren’s freckle in her eye.

Um this is content of the highest quality. I wanna know how Arie got such ultra-cool hi-def photos too. I have to think they were professionally taken in a studio that specializes in such thing somewhere in Barcelona? But anyway, that's the "speck in her left eye" he was talking about on the show you guys! He probably looks into her eyes like they hold constellations and galaxies. It's so pure haha.

Yeah I totally agree, traveling as a couple teaches you a multitude of things--about each other's true colors during moments of stress and fatigue, about being flexible and being able to compromise, about communicating better, etc. Not only are you relishing new rich experiences together and broadening your minds, but you're also strengthening the bond between you two when you commit to the adventure hand in hand because being on the road in a foreign location a bit outside of your comfort zone presents challenges on the daily that you have to co-accomplish. So far, I see ease and laughter and love between Arie and Lauren.

IMO one of the most telling "true colors during moments of stress" that Arie may ever see about Lauren is when he broke up with her at the FRC - her reply was "I still love you". IMO that was a rare - and shining - moment for Lauren.

But I do agree that they really seem to be enjoying this trip and their time together - even hamming it up for the paparazzi. Otherwise they just seem to be a pretty normal couple taking typical normal travel pics - albeit a normal couple on a honeymoon ...

And lest we forget before that and thus immediately after hearing the words that must have shocked and/or crushed her heart she said something to the effect "Well, I wish you the best" and then added something like beyond that I don't have much else to say. I think she demonstrated great poise, largesse and in a sense agape love.

Yes it is. I do think that this pic could have been taken from a cell phone - I checked with my iPhone and was able to get it to focus close in on a small object (about the size of an iris) and I think I could have taken a pic and cropped it down and gotten something pretty close to Arie's post. I think it's really romantic that he posted that no matter how or where he got the pic - that was something he loved learning about Lauren and he's still captivated by it.

I have to admit - I keep seasons of TB on my DVR and often go back to re-watch certain scenes to help support thoughts that I consider posting and I've watched that FRC a couple of times. This has been a season where the word "blindsided" has been used - a lot - and in circumstances where I question if that was really the case. But the FRC when Arie rejected Lauren is a scene where I really do believe that she was blindsided and each time I've watched it, it leaves me emotionally drained. I usually go back and re-watch the scene in Virginia beach where Lauren melts into Arie's arms as soon as she opens the door to cheer myself up.

Awww the A/L Virginia Beach reunion scene was so sweet and a little unexpected to me. I didn’t expect Lauren to embrace Arie in such a raw, unfiltered, exuberant manner - I expected her to be happy and emotional but a bit reserved and apprehensive since he’d just broken her heart in November. It kind of caught my breath how deeply in love she must be with Arie to just throw all caution to the wind and just let herself feel the happiness of seeing him again. I guess the fact that he’s willing to be “hated” by America for a chance to be with her might have helped, too

In the most recent Almost Famous podcast episode, there was a part where Ben seemed just in awe and maybe a little bit envious of how incredibly supportive Lauren has been of Arie - another surprise for me as I wasn’t expecting Ben to feel that way.

Coming back home because the other thread is locked...again!   Anyway, they have some cute IG stories up today of riding bikes and Arie is doing tricks again, just like he did in Tuscany.  Lauren went no-handed and Arie captioned the picture and story...Nice Try Babe!
