Blake Horstmann - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

Honestly Becca likely didn’t have a choice to bring Blake.
And the big difference between Becca and Andi to me is Becca is gracious to a fault.

I really think the AFTR is going to be very tame with Becca and Blake compared to other seasons. Blake even liked a photo of Becca/Garrett last week.

The tension will likely be more on the IG questions for B/G not at each other just in general because I would assume it’s not an easy subject. IMO

Who hasn't been called Andi 2.0? I swear I read that on here every year. Every ette since JoJo has been called Andi 2.0 She couldn't be any more different IMO .

Even Jojo was called Andi during Ben's season! I remember when the gig was taken from Caila, people were saying that Jojo was going to be the next Andi because she wasn't super nice to Jubilee and she had a thing for athletes. 

I agree, they're polar opposites. Becca is definitely more of the Jojo and Des brand of Bachelorettes, whereas Kaitlyn and Rachel are more of the Andi types. The double ILYs, the letting the F2 propose, sleeping with the F2, misleading the F2, etc. all that is just par for the course and every lead has done some of it (or all of it!) and will continue to do it until the series ends. IMO.

@Aria haha! Even JoJo?! definitely agree re: Becca being more in the Des/JoJo category.

I watched Kaitlyn's season primarily for Nick and Britt, well and everyone except Kaitlyn . Wow, I remember a lot of viewers did not care for Kaitlyn. I'm only watching this season for Blake and some of the other men. There's only one more episode, right? I may not watch, in fact, I probably won't. But I don't think you have to be a fan of the lead to watch the show, do you? I remember Nick's season, many viewers were not fans of Nick's. Or Ben H. But I didn't think we have to be fans of every single character in order to watch. That's a bit strange. On every tv show, there are cast members you like and those you don't care for. No difference in this show. Show some respect for those who might not think as you do. Have a good day.

There have been leads in the past who I didn’t like so I just stopped watching. I don’t see a point in watching a show and getting so worked up over leads I don’t like

I really haven't liked a lot of the leads- Nick in particular, and I liked Kaitlyn at the start of the season but not so much by the end. Even though I am no fan of Nick, I felt so bad that Kaitlyn mocked him after he threw the ring in the limo. I do agree that Becca was rude about Lauren and I also HATE the endless Arie comments this season. So I do agree with the above post- you don't have to like the lead to watch the show. Also want to add that I really didn't like Rachel on her ATFR. I watch the show regardless but I am not sure if I could do it, sanity wise, without this board I tend to really disagree with some posters on some seasons but then "like" their posts on another. About Blake, I will really feel for him when he is dumped. I hate to see people hurt by this show. That is really my only opinion of him.

Sorry didn't mean to veer off topic but wanted to address liking the lead vs watching the season anyway (with examples- I can be long winded at times). I do think Blake is fine now but I think it will be brutal so see him blindsided. I don't like the premise of this show and how so many are hurt, even though they will be fine eventually.

We all know we don't have to watch the show if we don't like the lead or contestants, however we all know that we can and will discuss any lead or contestant even if we don't care for them because that's what we do here. So if anyone doesn't want to watch, they will know if they need to take a break.

Personally I never compared any other lead to Andi, other than Becca. As @SFoster posted upthread in such a great detailed manner, , recaps of some of Becca's discussion regarding Blake, no voice over's, the real deal. We actually see her talk to Blake giddy when her heart is about to burst and so many other scene's. I've mentioned it before, IMO he was insecure and needy and very emotional because she was leading him to believe one thing, when he deep down probably knew what her choice was going to be.

I have not compared other leads to Andi because it was obvious to me by their body language and other sleuthing that they were not into the F2 like they were into their F1. They didn't act like IMO Andi did, just like Becca, in a convincing manner.

If Blake isn't a special snowflake, IMO neither is Becca and any other lead, male or female that was convincing in bringing their F2 to their knees, literally.

ITA @Sparkler. I didn't watch Andi's and JoJo's season because I didn't care for them. JoJo's whiny baby voice drove me crazy on Ben's season. I also skipped Arie's season, but not completely. I watched Paris (my daughter was living in Paris last year), Italy, and the finale because I knew about the switch and wanted to see it. I had thought Arie was in love with Lauren and didn't understand why he didn't pick Lauren to begin with. I have watched Des, Kaitlyn (I wanted Britt), Rachel, and Becca. Although I watched all the JP and Ashley dates on youtube because I watched their wedding on tv. Des was my first season. The only leads I have liked in 5 years are Des, Rachel, and Nick. It's not as good if you don't like the leads and I don't pay as much attention. Des and Rachel's seasons are by far my favorite. But I too did not like Rachel on ATFR. She was more of a diva, and still very angry. But she had that right. I still love her best because she is so feisty, funny, and full of personality. Blake is my favorite contestant since Drew Kenney on Des season! He's a sweetheart imo. And yes they know what they sign up, but Becca, knowing he was going to get on a knee anyway, didn't have to lead him on so much. Why stay out in the water until the sunsets, making out, when you're going to dump him the next day? really now? Was that necessary? Did she stay out with G until dark? c'mon..that's what I'm talking about!

so when he acted the exact same with ex (imo per her friend) was that her (the ex's) fault? I hate when men get a pass and we blame the woman JMO

I do not think becca lied I think she loved both men but she was in love with only one which was g jmo
