Anytime someone posts about shaking off haters, ignoring haters, etc. always makes me think they are trying to convince themselves to shake off the “hate” because it’s really bothering them.

(This goes for anyone who posts things like this not just Lauren.)

Most likely it is bothering her.  After all, she's only human.  Her Mom responded with heartfelt words of encouragement and praise for her daughter, which I thought was so nice. That's a good Mom!  Jmo.
