The Bachelor 2018 is rumoured to be running a few weeks behind schedule, but at last photos of the new line-up of contestants can be revealed.

One of the women is believed to be Cassandra Wood, who is an extra on Channel Seven soap Home and Away.

Is it just me or do these girls look ROUGH!?   I can't stand half of them already.

Wood, a 22-year-old commerce student from Avalon, said that while she thought she had a good chance of taking the crown she had “no idea” how to prepare.

“I didn’t know what to expect in terms of how to prepare, but I watched the news and learnt more general knowledge,” the part-time rugby player explained.

She also is an actor on Home and Away, playing a surfer and student.

EXCLUSIVE: Bachelor contestant trying to find love with Nick 'The Honey Badger' Cummins is Bill Shorten's former staffer Alisha Aitken-Radburn... who was allegedly involved in a race scandal

Another Bachelor contestant competing for the heart of sports star Nick 'The Honey Badger' Cummins has been revealed.

Daily Mail Australia can reveal that a former staffer for Opposition leader Bill Shorten, Alisha Aitken-Radburn, is trying her luck at the reality dating show.



The blonde beauty was also allegedly involved in a race scandal while at Sydney University, with 'complaints' made against her.  

According to her LinkedIn profile, Alisha says she is an 'advancer' for Bill Shorten in Canberra.  

A source told Daily Mail Australia that an email 'went around the office saying she has left to 'pursue a project'.  

The source also said she had recently broken up with her boyfriend Dean Shachar, a 'Vice President of the Young Liberals', who is an adviser for Pru Goward, according to his LinkedIn profile.



The writer also claims Alisha 'upset' some Facebook users in a post over comments she had made underneath a picture of two women in 'blackface'.

'The picture in the post was of two young white women in 'mud masks', dark faces in stark contrast to pallid necks, grinning into the camera,' the post claims.

'Some of the comments protested that this was blackface and, even if it was not intended to be blackface, the re-sharing and denial of Black women's critiques was incredibly offensive for many Black people.'

'Alisha called the above commenters 'ridiculous', told them to ''settle the f**k down'', and said it was ''also pretty upsetting to be accused of racism when you're a progressive women (sic)'',... She also stated that nobody had been offended by the photo, despite the fact that many on that thread had stated their outrage.'

The writer claimed she had posted her thoughts on this in a Wom*n's Collective page.

The writer claims Alisha then had a meeting with herself and a Wom*n's Collective officer and agreed to write a formal apology and a letter on Honi 'about the negative effects of blackface'.

The writer then added a Facebook post made by Alisha apologising for the comments about the 'blackface thread.'



Channel Ten told Daily Mail Australia on Friday: 'TEN will neither confirm or deny speculation about the identity of rumoured Bachelorettes on this season of The Bachelor Australia, and looks forward to revealing the contestants to viewers later this year.'

So looks like that's TWO Home and Away actresses on the show (Cassandra being the other one).  Did they have to hire actresses to give a convincing performance of being into the Lead?  

She does look genuinely into him though, IMO.  It looks like they were holding hands a lot even when OFF camera.  I think they look really good together!  I wonder what she's like......?
