My heart is so heavy today as we are mourning the loss of our 15 year old fur baby. She has been with me half of my life. There aren't enough tears in my life to express the loss. She just got diagnosed with cancer & had a tumor removed last Wed. She died in her daddy's arms....she wouldn't have had it any other way. I will have a hard time with that. I've never experienced loosing a pet. I've never really had pets. I have two shih tzu's, the oldest one will be 8yrs old. Can't even read about people loosing their pets, so upsetting.

15 yrs is a long time. Not that anything less isn't, but still, half of DeAnna's life.

That is hard. Pets give such unconditional love...a waggy tail and wet kisses always waiting at the door. I'm tearing up just thinking of having to go through that loss again...hopefully many years in the future.

So sorry she's going through this. It's making me tear up reading about it, thinking of the loss of my own two golden retrievers within about two years of each other. Pets (to me) are family, and it leaves a huge hole in your heart when they're gone. Hopefully after a while she can think of what a wonderful life her dog had being with her, and that helps.

Miss Addison is a gorgeous little girl. What's with the swaddling? This isn't the first time I've seen her like this. Gosh, I don't like it at all.

She most likely just woke up or was going to nap. I think it's fairly normal for a small baby.

There are some babies that can't relax enough to go to sleep without it.
My daughter has to wrap my grandson up as if he is criminally insane. First goes a special swaddle that rivals any straight jacket I have ever seen. Then over that goes the merlin magic suit. I'm telling you this baby makes Jack Nicholson look calm and serene.

One of my boys had awful cradle cap and would scratch away at night when sleeping. We finally found a way to keep his hands away from his head, gloves did not work at all. He looked like Hannibal Lectern when we put him to bed. :Frown:
