Ashley Iaconetti Haibon & Jared Haibon - Discussion

Ashley said she's petrified of labor, and I don't know why.  I don't think she gives herself enough credit because despite being an emotional person, I think she's a very strong person.  But with Jared being so busy with the new business, I can see why she'd want to be home with her family.  If I remember correctly I believe she once said she has anxiety issues, so if she has a fear of labor, being with her dad in his hospital that she has known all her life would help offset that anxiety.

Call me a crazy lady with baby fever for grandbabies, but I can't wait to see their baby.

@alwayscooking IA I didn't understand why she's so petrified of delivery, I'm sure I read that a few times now.

But like you say, perhaps being with her Dad in his hospital will help her.

We all have some fear of the unknown but I don't see the point of being afraid ahead of time. I ended up having a difficult delivery for my first but there was nothing that worrying would have helped. My 2nd was a breeze in comparison and even then I didn't worry ahead of time. It could be her personality.

I like the name Dawson. I see that they have a deal with Amazon. I hope they don't encourage new parents to buy too many things for their babies. They go through infant things so fast.

Same here. It's all forgotten instantly. I was surprised when I read how scared she was.

I don't understand why they had to announce the baby's name on Amazon. That's going a little to far imo. Can they not keep things private and enjoy the moment?

I thought the name would somehow be incorporated from a movie since they are such movie buffs.

ITA I do not get this at all. How much were they paid I wonder? Ashley is beautiful and smart but seems very young (immature) to me. Will the baby come home in an Aladdin outfit?!? ‍�

While I agree with our world being warped in the age of social media, I honestly don't find what they're doing any different from anyone else with baby announcements. Yes, Ashley and Jared are "influencers" but I admire them for they busting their butts to make money so they could start a different life. I think it's great they left the LA scene to start a family, a new business and buy a home. Nothing wrong with using the Bachelor franchise as a stepping stone to do something else with your life, heck seeing the money these people make doing ads, you'd be foolish not to.

Well at least their fans get to know what they are having plus the name.. I had to wait until baby was born 3 times from my favorites though it was more fun that way! The name is cute.
