Bachelor 22 - Arie Luyendyk Jr - SM Media - *Sleuthing Spoilers* - #3

After the FRC, they spend a few days together so wouldn’t you think Becca asks about Lauren and what led Arie to his decision of picking her (Becca)? Unless it was just physical with Becca, these conversations have to happen as they move forward. So imagine Arie spilling it all to Becca in his Arie way, then later she finds out he’s sniffing around Lauren. That’s a big red flag to Becca. It starts the beginning of their end imo. I want to give Arie the benefit of a doubt but like the snake who said, touch me, I won’t bite and then when touched, it bites and says, you knew I was a snake, what did you think I would do? If Lauren can weather through this season unscathed, then more power to her. She has to degrees of interest.
A BS in Psych to analyze BS and a second degree black belt in taekwondo to kick his azz if he betrays her. I actually think I’m going to like her in a vanilla sort of way. But I have little hope it’s going to last. Jmho

IMO, there was no way for this not to get out with the switch happening this early. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but this is basically how the Mesnick switch got spoiled too. Just different locations. As I remember that...

- They filmed an early ATFR that was closed set in LA to film the break up and the switch. That's what RS found out about and spoiled. That's basically what they did here, only on a closed set in LA instead of Molly's parents house. But it still got spoiled, I just don't remember if it got spoiled in real time or toward the end of the season.
- Then they filmed another 'AFTR' at end of the season to catch up with how it was going with Molly and Jason, like they normally do. But I'm pretty sure I remember two nights of ATFR at the end of that season.

All to say, there is no way that this wasn't getting out regardless of where they filmed it. JMOAA.

RS found out about the Jason/Melissa switch in another way. Melissa was seen with Tye at a private party. A photo was taken of them. This was quite a bit time before that filmed scene. 
My memory is fuzzy at this point, but if I'm not mistaken Tye also picked Melissa up from the airport when she got home from the show. 
That relationship was doomed from the earliest moments on both ends. Melissa's was just covered up more. 
The show is able to keep lots of thing under wraps and still get the film they need to support a storyline. I think in this current situation the same could have been done. Maybe they chose not to for whatever reasons. All I am saying it is seems to blatant and scripted, IMO to let it all out. As Lauren B's parents I definitely would have said no about having all this back at my home. They could have met and done all this at a Marriot around the corner. Nope, it was at her parents house like a welcome back sign was hanging on the front door.

I honestly think Arie did propose to Becca at the end, and I don't think the break up was in any way initiated by her - and if it was, it was in response to him being shady. After all, she wasn't the one with conflicted feelings at the end. By all accounts, she rejected the ex that came back and proposed to her at the end, whereas Arie told Lauren B that he loved her after he rejected her. So yeah.

The AFTR was a closed set for Jason's AFTR which was a big red flag to many sleuthers. There are several members here who were loyal AFTR show attendees - despite having to sign away their lives with a contract! But the good sleuthers knew something was up as the set was closed - then the rumors started ...

Arie will definitely get that crown if all ends up being true. No wonder Arie said he wouldn't be shilling fit tea on SM - probably because he will have no SM when if he deletes it

Ugggggg this makes me so upset.   

Becca is going to be a fantastic Bachelorette though, if she takes it. I don’t see them being that stupid not to give it to her.

I've watched this season so far not being too invested and even now I'm like who is this Lauren girl? She's absolutely unnoticeable to me, but eh. I am still hoping for Seinne to be the Bachelorette but I have to admit Becca has bigger chances, well that is if she wants to. I'd be running away fast from this franchise if I were her... but I'm not.

Your memory is very accurate. IIRC Melissa wrote in her book that Tye picked her up at the airport when she flew back from filming.

In addition to her book there was a bizarre (to me anyway) video made where Melissa recounted her difficulties in getting Tye to pay her attention - including serving him while wearing her Dallas Cowboys cheerleader outfit - and going on The Bachelor - which worked. I thought it strange because Melissa had covered things she did up quite well and I thought in bizarre to then make them public. Most of this is talked about here (though the video is missing from this article):

JMHO but while TPTB manipulate, lie and threaten to get what they want, they are not especially creative in their storylines. I agree - much of this is blatant and seems to be coming from a 9 year old playbook that they've used before.
