@Kashathediva exactly and that's why to me Leslie looked silly. She should know better than anyone. Plus I would never say her loss my gain as she tweeted out. Rachel is happily engaged. She eliminated Dean, on good terms, it's not a loss to Rachel IMO.

@sosleepy I have no problem with people not liking Rachel or Bryan. We all have people who just don't click for us.

Rachel can be a bit aggressive, I like that because I get accused of it too. Bryan is smooth to me, but I have no problem seeing how it can come off smarmy to others.

I do think Rachel was playing the Simon role at the kissing contest and JoJo was the Paula, but it got lost in the edit.

I have no problem with people not liking Rachel and Bryan and as long as it is not based on racial stuff I have no problem with it.@sosleepy you have never shown a racist moment here every.

We are all allowed to have our own feelings and opinions.

I don’t think it was confirmed that each one was supposed to be playing a role. I think Rachel captioned her picture the way she did because she knew the things she said and how she acted would be portrayed on screen the way it was. If she was portraying a role, then she probably should have been negative towards other couples as well with their kisses instead of just going after Dean and Lesley.

I think Rachel acted silly and slightly ridiculous and then so did Lesley on social media once the episode aired, although I can see where Lesley was coming from and that has nothing to do with her color of her skin. All JMO

I don't recall them playing a part. Rachel was the only one who seemed to take it personally. I think it was because Dean is friends with Peter. Why not just be happy with your own life and move on?  All JMO.

Lesley was responding do what she thought was petty. I was on her side and it’s not because she’s white and Rachel’s black. Rachel did her thing on tv and in a position of power. Lesley responded on SM. Not quite the same, imo.

IMO Rachel/Bryan & Dean have been on friendly terms for a while. RnB were on Dean's podcast and they were all very chatty/friendly. Dean apologized to them and they talked about going on double dates if RnB were to move to LA. Dean was also at RnB's engagement party where she revealed the Rachel dress, so I seriously doubt Rachel has an issue with Dean. Lesley/Dean's kiss routine was pretty silly IMO and I think it's more likely that Rachel was playing the Simon role -- especially since ABC took over American Idol from Fox & the show will be airing on ABC in March. The whole thing is just ridiculous. I think it was wrong of Lesley to go on Twitter to criticize Rachel as drinking from the "haterade" or tweeting "her loss", plus liking several tweets calling Rachel jealous, hateful, etc. If Lesley had an issue, she should have addressed it privately with Rachel. Rachel faced an enormous amount of nasty sm backlash partly because of Lesley's tweets/likes, and IMO a lot of that backlash is racially motivated -- IMO ppl have an issue with a black woman not being polite to a white person; somehow that's unacceptable. But it's okay if a white person is rude to Rachel; IMO they somehow get a pass.

Same goes to Lesly: if you are truly happy , why tweet “Her loss my gain”  “jealousy “? Why not move on and work on your new relationship? Jmo. Rachel and Bryan were guests on Dean’s podcast, so I don’t think she has a problem with him because of his friendship with Peter. Again, Jmo.

I agree Rachel can be aggressive, mean and petty at times. But I truly admire her determination to use her fame for many better, greater causes than bach nation. I’ve never seen anyone from this franchise dedicated to so many different charities, which I respect a lot. She just promoted the fight against slvaery the other day and someone had to bring up Dean under such an important issue. Normally I’d say just ignore it but for once, I am glad Rachel clapped back, rightfully so, IMO.

And it’s totally fine not everyone likes Rachel and Bryan. I am glad there are so many different couples that we can root for.

@sosleepy I do not know you personally and I’m unsure where in my comment I offended you or accused you of not liking Rachel because she is black. That was not my point. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. If everyone looked the same, thought the same or had the same experiences then life/the world would be boring.  I wish there was a way to have a conversation about race (IMO it most certainly plays a factor in how some feel about her) without us feeling/being offended. What I was referencing is the franchise in general and the comments she’s received on Instagram and twitter. As of her last tweet it’s only intensified based on something from 5 days ago.

First they are trolling in my comments, then my DM’s, and now a whole Twitter thread. As women we should support each other. So somebody please give these ladies the attention they need. Give them a like, a comment, a retweet so they can be content

And I’d like to add...A few of the comments are further proving my point, Rachel isn’t extended the same courtesy that everyone else is. While Rachel’s comments on the show are being criticized (mind you taped 2 + months ago) Lesley’s behavior of replying to tweets and liking negative comments about Rachel (which had NOTHING to do with Dean, Lesley or the WG) is justified. If you scroll Reddit you can actually read through the 20+ tweets that she liked. IMO that only encouraged the nasty behavior on SM. And if Lesley was truly justified she wouldn’t have gone and unliked said tweets/comments.

At the end of the day, what I’m most thankful for is that Rachel and Bryan found each other. They really do have something beautiful and to think it started on a reality show.

Rachel's lame for acting like that during what was supposed to be a lighthearted competition, and if she agreed to play the Simon role then she's stupid af  to not know how it would be recieved (not well). She looked even worse next to Jojo who's always so nice even to her trash (imo) guys who dont deserve it. I don't see how any of the criticism Rachel's recieved here is different than the criticism Kaitlyn and Andi recieve. Being a 'sassy' lead invites more criticism than being like Jojo or Des. As for SM, people are always gonna be racist on sm, especially towards black women for any and everything. It's indefensible but that's the reality. Rachel knows how this show works by now and if she agreed to being "Simon" then I wish she had just left it at "I thought you were going to kiss her someplace else". That was funny/witty/sassy all rolled into one.

Rachel certainly is not one of my favourite Bettes, but that mainly had to do with stuff that happened after her season. I most certainly don't like it when people attack others for things they have no control over. That said, that whole segment was supposed to be fun and silly and she acted way too serious about the whole thing. On the other hand, Lesley could have just let it go. They are all supposed to be happy and in love and I'm sure have lots of bigger things to worry about! Get over it all ready. You both should know that you are just encouraging the crazies!!!

Dear lord, the narrative never changes. Rachel looks at someone funny, it’s because they talked to Peter once and she’s of course still salty about Peter. I feel fairly confident in saying that those who continuously bring up Peter are the ones still bitter and can’t let go of Peter and not the woman who is engaged and living her life.
