So gutted. I'm missing tonights episode anyway and couldn't even care less. This has by far been the worst season. Says a lot when not even the glorious Sophie can save it.
Sophie's been great, it's just that the men were almost entirely unsuitable. I can't believe they didn't have more over 40s applying, they just chose instead to cast this group of young guys who were clearly never going to be in the running, IMO. They really left her with only one option and I'm still not convinced he's a good one.

Isn't Apollo the same age as Matty? Mid-20s is fine for a Lead IMO, so long as they're mature enough to take the role seriously and have enough "stage presence" to carry it off. I think Apollo would be good. IMO a Lead doesn't have to be ready to settle down and have babies - saying "I want to find a partner to share my life with right now" is good enough for me.

The fact that they announced BIP Aussie S1 while Sophie season was airing makes me think they only cast people to go on BIP. I don't think any of Sophie's season men were cast to be a returnee lead.

Oh wow really Matty is 30?! I thought he was younger. The season wrapped 5 minutes ago and I've already expunged it from my mind.
I think a young Lead would be good. They'd have to find some mature 20-something girls for him though... which could be a problem.

Apollo is 24. Matty is 30. I will be shocked if Apollo is cast as lead, even if he may have an edit for one. Plus Osher
Just to defend BIP a bit: as much as some contestants may bash BIP it's actually far more realistic imo considering it is one person dating one person at a time - unlike Bette/Bach one person dating and making out with multiple people (essentially "cheating" on people as the lead). The US show already has more odds-success with BIP than their other shows and overrall the contestants come out far better than if they were leads. I am not sure if Apollo would do it but if he did (and whomever chooses to go on it) they could potentially make themselves even more of a brand than leads and have more opportunities and better odds for a great edit and less chance of negativity/backlash. It's a win-win for him or most any other guy that goes on it imo. I have a feeling that the guys who turn it down will regret it. jmo

TPTB are going to wind up Jarrod with so much reassurance (you've got this, Stu is an Intruder) that Jarrod will be need to be carried if he is F2 at FRC
TPTB are playing him like a puppet. It's actually rather sad imo.Bobette wrote:They're totally setting Jarrod up to be F2, IMO."He wears his emotions on his sleeves, what you see is what you get and that's what I've been missing..." - Sophie #BacheloretteAU pic.twitter.com/UuyOowfCCI
