@Rolly well said besides his actions after the supposedly break up with Becca is the worst! I mean he really imo doesn’t seem to care how he is making Becca feel. All the things he is saying and posting now to me feels like a dig at Becca? I could be reading into things but his actions speak loud and whatever he says will feel like a lie and feel like he will say anything to make him look better. I mean arie I have to admit is actually pretty good in interviews and articulating his thoughts....basically for me he is a douche and no matter what he says at atfr I won’t fall for it, now he will always be a douche bag to me - Jmho

@LeapofFaith I agree. Mesnick was not this disrespectful of Melissa. Arie is a self centered douche. JMO.

Becca’s been pretty quiet and MIA. Wonder if she’s met with producers. What’s the consensus do we think she’ll take the bachelorette gig? I’m hoping she does, I need a lead I can really root for. This season has been such a drag for me.

IMO she deserves the opportunity if she wants it. I would enthusiastically watch!!!

IDK if she wants it  but selfishly I’m all for it.   Bring it on Becca. She would be fantastic JMO

YESSSS!! i love that catch! I hope u are right because i would love to see them announce her as the next bachelorette at atfr it would help me in getting over this season and the switch so when do tptb usually lock in a bachette for the usa? because cmiiw they start filming bachette as soon as the bachelor is finished airing right?

For us I hope she takes the job, for her I hope she runs far and never looks back.

I really don't want to see her but then again I would like for her to be the bachelorette so people can see that other side of her. Then she can also see what it's like to be in that lead spot, the good, the bad and the ugly.

I think every lead is going to mess up. That's inevitable. What Arie did is just on another level of cruel and lacking in decency. I certainly don't think Becca is perfect, but no human being deserved that. IMO.

Well she will get a chance to see whether it is or not, she'll get to see through his eyes and maybe understand where he's coming from.

Every lead ends up doing something that fans and nonfans both will find issue with, that's a given.  They all come out a little tarnished and bruised, especially when a fan fav and they have farther to fall.  

I don't need her or whoever becomes lead to be perfect and I'm sure I won't like everything said and done.  I personally don't want the ones I like to be lead, but several have found love and happiness so, as long as each does what they feel is best for them (taking the gig or walking away) I'm ok with it.  It's their lives not mine.  

That said, I would never wish all the negative and criticism that the leads end up getting on any lead.  And I mean that about any lead.  They'll learn and often sympathize with past leads after going threw it.  But I don't need them to fall from grace simply to make past leads mistakes look better or better understand someone's behavior.  Especially when IMO in this case it appears to be extra insensitive and unnecessary (at least as far as the rewriting and such that's going on).
