General Discussion thread for Matty and Laura.

Wishing these two lots of love and laughs!!!

Confession: I couldn't finish watching the season.  I dropped out once Flo left because I was just so bored by Matty's canned lines.

I hope Laura and Matty found love, but the entire storyboard felt so manufactured and stale to me.  

Sorry guys.   I was really looking forward to it too after my 1st international season with Bachelor NZ which I loved.  

For those of you following M&L closely, do you think this couple is the real deal?  Sadly, I just never got that vibe.

I do! Not that my track record is the best ....

Who knows if they'll last but I think this was a one horse race right out the gate - regardless of what Matty says. They have said they are both keeping their respective homes as they live so close to one another - they just want to date as if it was real world. I always think that is a good way to start a relationship.

Absolutely I think they will last. They seem totally bowled over by each other and highly compatible. They don't have to deal with long distance either. I wish them all the best.

I hope they're compatible when it comes to having kids because Matty has always said how important it is to him and Laura isn't that maternal.  Maybe being madly in love will change that plus being around George and the new hub when it arrives

To be honest, what she said about having kids... I didn't think was that bad. I was scared stupid of holding babies and had no interest in other people's kids before I had my own either but I always knew that I wanted my own. I had zero practice because there were just no kids in my family and I had no desire to be around other people's kids. Then I had my daughter and of course everything changed (as it does). I'm a massive animal lover so I never really doubted that I would be maternal over my own kids.

What Laura has said strikes me as very similar to my own experience. She said '5 or 6 years' which is probably a good timeline for both of them. Give them a year to settle into life, another year to get engaged and married, a couple of years as a couple going on adventures and then it's time to have kids. That kind of seems like what they both want.

Yesterday I emailed Alisha at tm cause I am not on social media... Got such a lovely and personal reply!!! Seems the lovebirds are very very happy!!!

New idea is filled with just made up bs *IMO*. Every story on that cover bares no truth to it *IMO*, so I highly doubt this Matty story too. Jmo
