I think a destination wedding would be a great option. Since Rachel's family is in Texas and Bryan's is in Florida. Instead of debating where the wedding would be.

Actually, Bryan has already deferred to Rachel for Dallas which is customary - to go where the bride is but, to your point - a lot of people have to travel anyway - all of Miami, Columbia, LA and Houston so for many, traveling to Turks and Caicos may be a bit more expensive but, a lot more desirable than Dallas.

I don't know what shape the island is in but, it is really quite beautiful and has a lot to offer aesthetically. If they comp them quite a bit for the reception in exchange for the advertising, it could be a win-win.

I'm not sure she's being really serious but if she is, I'm positive it will only be the Bachelorette party there and not the actual wedding.

You’re probably right because we know they can both keep a secret so wedding details will not be announccd this early.
One thing is for sure, it’s time to start planning because last I heard from them, it’s next fall or, winter..

I think she is kidding also, but she must know that people are going to jump on this and run with it. If the plan is still to wed fall/winter next year then, they need to lock in venues soon (as in now).  Also, I think this would be a more expensive place to fly to compared to Dallas/Miami for any of Bryan's family coming from Columbia. But would be a perfect bachelorette party location. AMO.

A joke or not regarding Rachel's IG stories about the bachelorette party, I still think they have some idea of their wedding date and have started planning. I'm glad they are still sharing their vacation with us! I'm guessing they will leave Turks & Caicos today or tomorrow because Rachel is speaking at UT-Austin at the UTRealBeauty event tomorrow night.
