I wonder if Rachel said Dad initially because she knew some fans might get confused? IRC she called Bryan daddy on an earlier post and it set off all kinds of reactions from people who had never heard of a SO being called daddy

I love that picture of Judge Lindsay, Rachel, and Bryan. It makes me smile. I’m so happy the family seems to be totally on-board with Bryan. How could they not be? Interesting discussion about the watch. I never thought he wore it all the time, so I didn’t think much of him not wearing it in that particular picture.

I always thought he did as weell, but after Fangirl'sresearch you are both indeed correct that Bryan doesn't wear it all the time. I think some of us think of it as his engagement ring in a way, so we probably haven't noticed when he hasn't worn it,
