Of course plenty of people can be highly intelligent and not smart in relationships. I actually wasn't even focusing on Rachel's being a lawyer. Yes, she's had bad relationships because she was attracted to drama and struggles. That does not equate to being dominated or controlled by a man. If anything, some of her struggles in relationships was probably from battling for control with the men she was with, which is often a case with strong women. The point is, in my opinion, I have seen zero evidence that Bryan is controlling things in this relationship or that either one is.

So bringing up the laundry list of his supposed red flags for the umpteenth time to suggest that this move to California is somehow all on him is just silly in my opinion. They're both clearly interested in whatever they think they will get from moving to California. Stupid idea or not, I don't see it as being on one versus the other.

Lol the being 37 year old single who has dated alot always cracks me up. What is the age appropriate to be single? Should people be rushing into marriages just because they are of a certain age...ugh

Oh, I don't think this is an Ali-like situation where one person has big dreams of fame and fortune and the other is being one dragged along. They're both delusional idiots! IMO.

Why don't these contestants consult me before making these bone-headed decisions? I'll offer my services for free even!

I'm with you @Aria, as is the trend  they both have delusions of their future imo, no one is under the thumb of the other, theyre feeding each other's hopes/dreams to make it big.

Why so much snark and sarcasm to fellow posters though? I don't get it. It's just harmless fun/tv show watching imo.

As I remember . During their atfr when CH asked them about their plans like where they gonna live . Actually Bryan mentioned they are not sure yet at that time and said there are places in mind Dallas, Miami and LA. So now that she said they are moving in California. Safe to say is in LA. Just saying .

Maybe they both want to make it big in LA? Rachel knew that being the Bachelorette would open doors for her IMO. But the question is... what's so wrong about that? Even if they move to LA and don't break into the industry the way they hope to, I don't think it's a for sure sign that they will fail. We also don't know how long term this is yet. Rachel seems to have had her own goals and dreams before Bryan ever came into the picture, I don't think he's the driving force behind this decision. JMHO.

ETA: I also think what sets them apart from some of the past failed couples is that they have actual careers to fall back on if the whole entertainment thing doesn't work out, assuming that's what they plan on doing.

Mmmmh..so you mean to tell me Bryan hasn't been studying for his Texas chiropractic license this whole time? Imagine that. I'm sure he's gonna open a clinic somewhere in California though , he's the ab doc after all.

Side note: I actually think this two have a chance of making it. If they stay practical. and rachel has been looking bomb. So Jealous they got to be at NYFW.

@mysthelma well to me theres a huge difference between a 32 educated classy lawyer and a 23 year old model in miami who competes in beauty pageants and is 5 years out of high school. The type of people he dates or hooks up with says alot jmo
