IMO that would be like watching my brain cells die voluntarily. No thanx.

If rachel and Bryan have an agenda and clear reason why they're going on the show, which I'm sure they do cause otherwise it's just grasping at 15 minutes, they should be relatively fine. This will be an introduction to an audience that mainly didn't /doesn't watch the bachelor shows imo. Since wendy herself doesn't watch, she'll be relying on her research team for any dirt. Rachel is quick on her feet and Bryan just echos whatever she says so they'll be ok imo.
But I'd be lying if I said I don't want some messy probing from Wendy

Wendy Williams has had a broad mix of celebs on her show including Jennifer Lopez and Alicia Keys a number of times, Danielle Radcliffe, Ciara, P. Diddy, Jimmy Fallon, Chrissy Tiegen, Naomi Campbell, Jonah Hill to name a few. Amy Schumer is also making her debut next week. Wendy is quite capable of giving a professional interview or these people and their publists would say "no".
She gets about 2 million viewers daily. As discussed, Rachel needs to extend her brand beyond Bach world and that's exactly what she is doing! Rachel has talked about her post show platform and she's probably writing a book IMO.
As I said before, everything that worked IMO against her as being the first AA lead on this show she will now use to her advantage and more power to her! I guess I don't understand why is fine for other couples to quit their day jobs and make a career change but it's a problem now because it's Rachel and Bryan.

It's fine for other contestants? I don't think so. See threads for: Sean, Andi, Nick, and countless others. Par for the course IMO.

Idk, I'm certainly not surprised! All of those vague 'we need to talk to family, friends and our employers' when asked about living arrangements was basically code for LA IMO. Still, I reserve the right to snark at the embarrassing and out of touch attempts to make it. Wendy Williams isn't one of them for me though. It'll either go really well or terribly. JMO.

It's surprising cause rachel was all, I love my Job, worked too hard for it and I want 2.5 kids and a picket fence like yesterday. For me I guess I bought what she was selling and thats on me so no biggie.

First, can I just say that rachel is serving all kinds of looks in this picture!!! She is absolutely gorgeous
Anyway, IMO this is further proof that these two didn't decide to move to LA because it's such a family friendly city, located in amazing school district where they can raise their 2 children and cooper. I'm now 99.99% certain they have a team behind them that's arranging this gigs. Wendy Williams is naht the typical bach/ette exist enterview. They have a plan, it looks like it's in motion soon, and I can't wait to see what it is. On the plus side though, they have enough foresight to target a different audience.

I totally agree. Living in the city, Los Angeles is not famous for good schools and private school costs are outrageous. Just lost a lovely family two doors down who said no to $38K per child per year.

@FashionLover IA. Surprising for pre ette Rachel, but by the time the season ended it was obvious they were headed in that direction .

Just purely on the fact that it's Wendy, I'm gonna go with terribly.bleuberry wrote:Idk, I'm certainly not surprised! For the record, my comment about Wendy Williams' show wasn't that deep or an opening for more analysis on the pitfalls and famewhoriness of moving to LA. I watch Wendy's show and usually get a good laugh from it. But my friend and I always joke about how bad the quality is despite the fact that we still watch and enjoy it. Like I said, the interview could be a two minute, fun little thing.
It's just a fact that Wendy often doesn't seem to do her homework, spouts off crazy stuff that's wrong, often has to be corrected by her staff, asks inappropriate questions, etc. I mean this is the woman who was asking Seth Myers about whether he was dating when the man has been married for years and has a young baby. It's that kind of stuff I'm referring to when I say it could be very cringeworthy.

Wendy is such an idiot, but I do enjoy her stuff just for the cringe factor. She usually insults the guest or will fail to know very basic information about them. Rachel is very good on her feet, so I'm excited to see how she handles this!
