So back to Arie- looks like Caroline is someone to watch. She has gotten a lot of exposure already, imo.

I hope whoever got the one on one in episode 3 is someone we don't know of/about yet (especially if the trend continues where the winner had a one on one that episode.) What are the statistics for the winner of The Bachelor getting their first one on one episode 3? I know Whitney, Lauren, and Vanessa did. But I recall Nikki getting hers episode 5.

You're right! Courtney also didn't get a week 3 date (week 2). Neither Melissa/Molly had the week 3 date (week 2 and 4, respectively). Emily and Vienna *did* get the week 3 dates. So that means 5 F1s have gotten it in the past 9 seasons. Not as consistent as our Bachelorettes/week 5, but a pretty good indicator!

Yeah, The Bachelorette is typically set in stone with the eventual winner getting their first date episode 5 (but a heavy player getting their first date episode 1.) The Bachelor has been a mixed bag. Hopefully they change it up this season, but if not, then hopefully it's someone that we don't know yet IMO.

FWIW, Before season 14, the Bach seasons were a lot shorter.  Here's how it lined up for the seasons.

FWIW, the first 7 seasons of The Bachelorette were episode 3 F1's had their first date. That formula changed for Emily's season where it went to an epi 5 format. Cause Arie was on in that season, should we be looking for something to change here??
