Vanessa Grimaldi & Josh Wolf - Bachelor 21 - Discussion

Cody Nickson of BB19 and Amazing Race 30 is engaged to Jessica Graf (also of BB19 and Amazing Race 30) -- that is who I was talking about. I just noticed that I misspelled his name which is why I typed it again. These are all people repped by Canadian publicist, Lori Krebs. That is how Vanessa became friends with Jessica and Cody through their mutual publicist. Whoever this new boyfriend of Vanessa's is Canadian -- hope we get some more info on him soon. I would love to see Vanessa in a happy, loving relationship. JMO.

@GuardianAngel Sorry for the confusion. I find it very interesting that Vanessa would say all of this on Dean and Jared's podcast (Jared is a cohost now) -- Dean is a close friend of Nick's and Jared is Nick's friend and roommate. I find it interesting that Vanessa would pick this podcast to divulge anything about her dating life now.

I'm hoping she will end up back in montreAl and in the classroom again....

I listened to the whole podcast and they actually discussed the breakup with Nick a bit when they had some life coach on the phone. They were talking about the stages of grief and getting over a breakup. Vanessa said it's really important for her to try everything to make a relationship work before giving up, and she once again mentioned that she and Nick tried really hard, they were just too different. The life coach also said that her golden rule is to not treat people how you wanted to be treated, but to treat them how they want to be treated. She then asked Vanessa if they ever asked each other what they would need to do for the other people to feel fully loved, and she said "Absolutely!" and then went on to explain that that's when they realised their love languages were very different. That what Nick could give her wasn't necessarily what she needed and what she did really need, he couldn't provide, and they just couldn't understand each other in that sense.

This is so heartwarming.

Not going to lie, I also think it's weird that Vanessa is cozying up to Jared and Dean--Nick's two closest friends in Bachelor Nation--especially when she's made it no secret that she's dating someone and has been dating that person for months now. Granted, she has also gone out of her way to point out multiple times that she doesn't consider the guy that she's seeing to be her boyfriend--in fact, on yesterday's podcast she even briefly considered the idea of playing the field given that her usual dating method (ie. focusing on one relationship at a time) hasn't worked for her. I also noticed that she liked a couple of posts recently (over the last couple of days) from this account: https://www.instagram.com/kaiahernandez/?hl=en. The account is run by Nick's close non-Bachelor hometown friends. I do think it's all a little confusing and weird...but at the end of the day, as much as Vanessa seems to be putting up the front that she's over Nick, I do think that her actions paint a different story. JMO

I wonder the same thing. Her Instagram stories suggest that she's leaving LA for good (I mean, I don't recall her posting an Instagram story of her saying good bye to her living room the last time she went back to Montreal for an extended period of time)...but on the podcast yesterday, they did make it seem like she was only leaving for the summer so who knows? However, as of right now, it does seem like she is reversing her living situation where instead of living in LA and visiting Montreal, she'll be living in Montreal while visiting LA. But of course, this is all just speculation at this point. Personally, I do think that it makes more sense for her to live in Montreal given that her charity is there and I don't even think she had much going on for her in LA--practically and financially speaking, I just think it makes more sense for her to be in Montreal and to be honest, I don't really know what has been keeping her in LA for this long. JMO

It could be said that its weird that Dean and Jared, Nick's close friends are cozying up to Vanessa as well. I'm glad no lines have been drawn in the sand and Dean and Jared can embrace a friendship with Vanessa and vice versa
