I really do not see how she has gone up in the world . IMO Nick is way hotter than this guy and just because he has money does not mean that brings happiness. Yes he seems very accomplished in the world of hockey and that is awesome for him. Nick has nothing to do with polished gent that has been gone for awhile now. He is not staying relevant due to Vanessa and he is getting some good acting gigs and seem to be very happy . I wish the best for both of them in whatever they find. JMO

This dude is defo a step down ... Nick was hotter imo. Plus he's only 25... Nick was defo more age appropriate

I really can't say if Vanessa is stepping up or down, cause I don't know anything about this hockey player. Yes, he seems to be an accomplished athlete, but what about his character? Is his personality compatible to hers? Do they have same interest, passion and goal? Are they seriously dating or just casually seeing each other?
No matter what, As long as V is happy, I am happy for her!

To clarify my post. I'm not comparing Gallagher to anyone. My only point was in reference to the mean comments by the tabloid, where in fact this young man has accomplished quite a bit in his young age including a 6 yr contract with the NHL. The maximum entry level is around $900,000, with hopes of a contract which he secured. If you're not performing you don't get such a stable contract. He got it because he deserved it. You don't get offered that kind of money and security by slacking off. It takes a lot of hard work with results. BTW he got another goal tonight, 7 for the season so far.

Vanessa is fortunate if she met someone who she enjoys their company, treats her well, and could develop into a serious relationship, regardless if I think he's handsome or not, or has a zero bank balance, or millions or plays for my favourite team. None of that matters IMHO.

I hope Brendan adores her and treats her well. I'm glad she is dating someone and not staying home dying of heartbreak. So You Go, Vanessa!

I think that Mike Ogilvie guy from Bach'ette Canada has the hots for Vanessa jmo. I noticed that he posts on her IG pics. On her latest pic he posted, "Holyyyy, maybe I should head to Montreal for the weekend."

Good for Vanessa! I'm glad that she's moving on with her life and putting herself back out there. She really is a catch, and will find her true love/prince charming sooner rather than later.

The worst thing you can do when you break up with someone is sit at home. IMO. You have to get out, try and enjoy yourself and you never know what or who might be around the corner, so to speak.

According to a new article in People", they are friends and just hanging out. I wonder if it was V or his rep that put the brakes on her rep's take.
