Exactly! Think about the fact that Sportsbet almost certainly know the winner, and then think about how many crew members, caterers, cameramen, paparazzi etc also know the winner.  I find it incredibly unlikely that Sportsbet - who are in the business of making money from gambling - would willingly give all those people a $400 bonus just for placing a bet.

They're not that charitable, IMO.

The Bachelor's Matty Johnson might like contestant Laura Byrne, but does he like her artwork?

Apparently not, if one fan's anecdote is to be believed.

"I saw Laura’s drawing of Matty propped up against a tree next to the council clean-up pile," a source told Woman's Day.

The magazine reported that the eyewitness was a fan of the show who recently happened to be walking past Matty's Bondi home.

"I saw a guy and girl cleaning out the garage and there was a whole load of packing boxes, too," the source continued. "So it’s hard to say whether Matty was throwing away the drawing or moving it to a new place."

Woman's Day also reports that Laura -- who is tipped to be the last woman standing out of the eight remaining – has been arguing with fellow contestant Elora Mulger, who is also rumoured to be a favourite, off camera.

But the outlet reports, because Warner Bros are supposedly planning on bringing one of the women back to be the next Bachelorette, they've been making sure she comes off as likeable to viewers.

"They’ve got one of them in mind to star in a future Bachelor or Bachelorette, so they don’t want viewers to turn on her before it’s announced," their insider said

I totally buy this story BTW.  I'd be interested to know if the show approached Laura and encouraged her to apply.

The Foxtel episode guide for Wednesday 30th says 'Later, one bachelorette's effort to impress backfires in spectacular fashion but will she be the next to leave?' We know this cannot be Elora as she is in the final 7, so it has to be Simmone. IMO it is related to her behaviour at the GD.

And the woman who saw Laura's drawing of Matty on the pavement has achieved her moment of fame. I can't believe a supposedly reputable (not in my eyes I should add) magazine would write this story. And it seems they are going for the ex-girfriend intruder to enter the house. And the sad thing is people choose to believe what is printed.

There is an article on News.com that has an old ad Matty was in so IMO I think he loves being a 'celebrity' why else would he do modelling and TV ad's??

@allaboutlove sleuthed that ad during Georgia's season I believe, no idea why they are saying it just re-surfaced. Also Matty modeled for a living at some point but he is now doing his 9 to 5 marketing job according to him. Hopefully he sticks to that going forward but I am sure there will be other opportunities that open up to him, should be interesting how he manages that post filming.

If anyone is watching Survivor AU, Sportsbet's odds from the beginning of the season had Odette as the favourite. I have barely heard Odette talk and imo you would think over the past couple of episodes she would be next to go.

Have been a quiet observer of this forum and really enjoy the sleuthing read. As a newcomer, please don't shoot me down but I am puzzled why no one seems to even indicate at all that Elora is F1. I am assuming its been based on the betting odds (and other clues mentioned which ,to me, still don't add up)

I do believe that channel 10 has more than ever tried to cover their tracks this year in view of all the major slip ups that have happened with past bach/bette seasons. A few things that have made me wonder re Elora.
a) in the promo with the girls voice overs when Matty says "find my happily ever after", he is sitting with Elora on the boat with his arm around her when he says that and the voice at the end that says I love you,I swear is Elora's( it is said in a way that you can't pick the accent) and channel 10 would have made sure of that.
b) going by a couple of past series whoever gets the SD in Episode 8 is in F3
c)Matty says after this date"I can go to bed contented now" because he has admitted in interviews he was scared of falling in love with one of the girls in case they didn't love him back. Elora made her feelings for him quite clear that night
d)In the active group date there is a video posted by Mail Online there is an interaction at 1.03 between Elora and Matty which is quite playful and a bit like a schoolboy trying to annoy the girl he likes to get her attention.
e) just wondering about the "break" matty J had and if that occurred just after the overnight date with Elora. Matty,I believe by nature is a one woman man and if he had fallen for Elora would have found it difficult to keep going on dates with the other girls as he may have felt like he was cheating on Elora.He may have needed the break to ground himself and get back to "acting zone"
f) In an interview being filmed on My gold coast" radio station on 25/07/17 at 4.59, Emily Jade asks Matty about Elora. Matty answers but Emily catches him on something and filming stops and then starts again when the topic is changed.
g) there was something posted on one of these forums, that someone had stated that Matty had already fallen for one of the girls at around the half way mark and the production team was going to have a hard time trying to keep it all real and under wraps( I tried to find it but couldn't)Elora's 2nd SD was at the half way mark.
h) the betting odds chop and change so wildly it seems really weird.
I'm sorry if this has all been cleared up earlier. If so Please correct me wherever Iam wrong
