I think this is the wrong analysis...I think it was Rachel pissed that he used HER to get the gig. And If he SO wants to stand by those principles of getting engaged one time then it would be the height of hypocrisy to accept the TB gig because the same dynamics exist.

I have zero sympathy for Peter. To me Peter is a creepy manipulative controlling egotistical narcissist and Rachel dodged a massive bullet with him. I hope I never see Peter on my screen again.

I don't think she was trying to sabotage him being the Bachelor. I think she was being honest and using his own words about needing more time. I'm really confused on why people keep saying she was being bitter, didn't Peter say he needed more time with her, so it would only make sense to think he would need more time if he was the bachelor.

I got that impression from Bryan, especially after learning he was on another reality TV show called " The Player." He seems to just tell her exactly what he thinks she wants to hear.

But, I hope for Rachel's sake that I'm wrong.

So Peter needed more time with one woman, but will be OK finding one woman out of 30 women in the same amount of time? Rachel just called out his hypocrisy using his own word, IMO.

How did Peter use Rachel? IMO he was very clear: if she was willing to choose him, knowing he wouldn't propose, then they would continue the relationship after the show was over. How is that using her to be the lead, he can't be the lead if they're dating. She cut him, either because she wanted Bryan more or she wanted a proposal on FRC day, she made the final decision.

Now, if Peter had walked away at that moment, I guess I can see why some people would think he used her by waiting until the very end and then left, without letting her make the final decision.

He even told her that she could come back if she changed her mind. How could he be the lead if she changed her mind and went back to his hotel room the next day and said "I don't want you to propose until the time is right and I'm choosing you anyway."

Rachel is been eaten alive on SM. She deserves this for being bitter and petty.

@AAA, amen to that. Peter is so not the honest, nice guy SM is crazy for. I find him to be emotionally abusive. The way he used R --giving her just enough to stay--knowing very well he wasn't into her and that he wasn't going to propose is unforgivable to me

Peter deserved it for all the shade he threw on SM IMO

Peter legit was even posting on his IG after filming ended how the show is not realistic to be saying ILY and proposing. Sorry but that's the show and the timeline of the show. It's even worse as the Bachelor because it's one lead who has to divide his attention with 30 women and try have all these relationships and end in a proposal (I don't see the show wanting any other ending). So to me, it's just a fact that this show and its format is not suited for Peter, regardless of whether I like him or not. As Becca tweeted tonight... it's just not suited for types like her and Peter.

She dumped Peter for wanting "more time" and then went on to say her and Bryan "needed more time" to cultivate their relationship. To me, she was being hypocritical, and to some, it seemed she only was after a ring.

Because last season she was Peter. It was all moving along too fast for her then, but it clearly wasn't on her own season when she found someone who suited her better. I suspect the same would happen for Peter if he met someone who he was interested in and who was interested in him....since Rachel had been all about Bryan for a while and all the guys knew. And she was bitter towards Nick after his season, so this seems to be a pattern. It will be interesting to see if she continues with the shade at Peter or if she just happily moves on.
