She had not had any chance to react to anything he has said on and off the show (through sm likes) so I saw no problem of her feeling hurt and clapping back. Is he only allowed to have feelings, and react according to them  and Rachel just be gracious? His comment about mediocre life was extremely mean, IMO, but Rachel isn't allowed to react. If he dishes out insults when he's hurt, people are going to react to them, and imo that's not petty.

She still should have accepted his apology. If she wants to clap back fine, but to just dismiss a genuine apology was petty in my eyes. She held her composure in plenty of other situations to not clap back out of emotion so we know she's capable.

I personally feel like Peter is emotionally manipulative and imo I think Rachel feels the same. I think she was trying to be gracious by not name calling, but yeah the vibe I get is I think she thinks he's manipulative.

I'm wondering if it came from Rachel's end? Didn't JK throw a bit of shade toward Bryan? Maybe she chose to make the interview as brief as possible because of it. It could be very real that she is picking and choosing now that this circus is over that she will pursue what she feels is her worthwhile whatever that may be.

@umngirl just me, but his apology wasn't sincere. All his SM trolling shows he meant every petty word he said. And heartbroken Peter was thrilled just days after being dumped. He just keeps playing his part.

Rachel was not gracious, she is still hurt, so yeah, she could have risen above, but her truth was that she still feels hurt and anger for the way she feels that Peter treated her and played her. That sucks because she has a man willing to love her, but hearts heal in different ways.

I come out of this as a bigger Bryan fan. He isn't everyone's cup of tea, but he has risen above and not fallen into any of the pettiness. He is just a man who wants to love his woman. Go Bryan. Rachel you are a lucky woman. All JMO.

And now we watch Rachel re-write history. She didn't see Peter as a husband? Maybe that's how she feels now but I'm not buying that during the show. Did she read this forum to know Peter just wasn't that into her? JMO.

I will cut Rachel some slack her, just because once again tptb put her in a unique and unnecessary situation. Unlike other bachelors/bachelorettes, she was made to sit there and give comments in real time as she's watching this emotional event that likely brought back so much emotions. Other leads have been allowed to watch the show beforehand therefore they are able to compose themselves,deal with their feelings in private before coming out, she never got that chance.

I cannot imagine what my response and reaction would be if I have to talk to guy who I just recalled saying my life will be mediocre with out him, coupled with having a fiance backstage and having him back stage as well. JMO

They are so cute in the PEN feature...just watched it on  my Roku.  The photoshoot was GREAT. They are dancing and she's doing pushups on top of him and kissing him. All kinds of cuteness. IMO

Yes, that's exactly how I felt. And when she pressed peter for why he was feeling attacked, I think he was smart to bite his tongue on that.

I was just saying that to a friend...never underestimate TPTB ability to add to the mindf*ckery she must have been going through at the end.

But Dr. Cheeks and Regina George?! They are just too much. I don't buy what they are selling. May they enjoy their next 6-10 months in LA or Dallas or Miami or whatever vague non-plans they laid out schilling and being cheesey.

They remind me of DeAnna and Jesse abit. She had her back up after not getting who she wanted (Graham) and was defensive and somewhat, caustic. He wanted to make a quick buck off of the whole deal.

She had just rejected the beloved Jason and had enraged fans. It feels like a familiar script to me. I hope it has a better outcome.
