I think Matty called Sian and let her go. I think he was asked to talk to sian outside. I think his VO saying that he does not know if he wants to keep sian was definitely between the talk and the RC... and I think tara and sian were BFF... this is why we see a hand of comfort on her shoulder at the RC because sian is called in the middle of the RC and tara is shocked.

Matty: from today, I want achieve 2 things: I really want to laugh the whole time but I also want to see her serious side as well.

Matty: from the very first time I met TAra, I really like her quirkiness

Matty (PI): Tara is not comfortable on a bicycle and YET I have come to the date with a tandem bicycle which is just GREAT

Matty (PI): Tara and bicycles.... really did not mix

Matty: the difficulty with a tandem bike is that I can't see tara. You know, for a first date, you kinda be seeing the person you are talking to

Maty (VO): so I brought Tara to a beautiful mansion near a harbor and the next part of the day, (MAtty PI) I think this is really something that Tara is gonna love

Matty (PI): Tara is such a positive person (Matty VO)  and it is someone that is so infectious and seeing her reactions to cooking pasta which is not that exciting but is so over the top and so entertaining and it is so nice to see

Matty (PI): Tara is very foody. (Matty teasing). Tara, I know we are in a kitchen, but please Tara I am not a piece of meat.

Matty (VO): I laughed pretty much the entire date and that now it is toward the end, I would like to see more of a mature side of her personality

MAtty (PI on date with piano soft music): All of a sudden, the maturity of Tara is just shining so brightly and I never expected her to kinda get to that level so quickly

MAtty (VO). Tara and I are so eye to eye on so many different levels and every time Tara answers one of my questions, I am there thinking (PI) YES YES, that's exactly what I think

Matty (PI on date): All of a sudden, I am looking at her and I am thinking: this is the girl I could end up with

Matty (VO): At the beginning of the date, I saw Tara as a quirky funny kid, (Matty PI) and now I see her as a beautiful woman that I am REALLY drawn to her, that I am REALLY attracted to.

Matty (VO): after today's date, it is gonna make me question not what is with Tara but now where I am at with (hesitation... Laura?) all the other ladies in the mansion.

well..................... now I am not that sure that Laura is F1. Honest. this was really a heck of a man who fell in love in front of me!!!
he had the same giggly love puppy expression that he had with Laura.... almost. I think he did not expect that at all. And this reminds me that this is the guy that do fell in love with a woman at the first conversation.......

I saw 3 different PI with Matty: mansion/hotel, after the cooking, in the garden at the end of the date.... which is more than any other SD. The only thing that makes me meh could be Laura is how Matty reacted after the date and when he talked about the kiss. He was completely giggly and looked like a guy who was on cloud9

I also do see this falling in love expression with Tara

So now I question myself is all those PI with Tara were not just a F1 edit ... After all, Tara got her first 1-1 on episode 6!!!

I also think that the hot tub could be Tara as well as the lemonade girl (at HTD?). She has the round cheek and she has the right hair color and length. They will do a camel trek somewhere in Australia.. which for me indicates top 3 since we know they go to Thailand. Unless they go to thailand for top 3 and back to australia for top 2 which somehow does not make sense since they love beautiful sunset for the "I fell in love with no proposal but a ring for commitment" FRC.

For me Tara and Florence are miles away from each other. Same with Elora. The obvious top 2 after this date is for me Tara and Laura. I am really on the fence and still give a tiny bit of advance for Laura F1 but not by much. The fact that they have hidden the secret garden screams to me F1....

I am very excited now.. I hated that it was a done deal with Laura. I want to be kept on my toes !!!

I think Tara has moved up behind Laura...past Flo. I think their date was more relaxed than with Flo and I think the chemistry was better and they had more fun. My only concern with her is the energy level. I really liked her...particularly once she got more serious...but, the squealing seriously had my ears hurting.

I hear what you are saying. However, I always thought as Matty energic as well. He said it himself. He is always on the move for sport, activities, adventures but he is also very homey and family.

I was wondering why Tara was so much in PI. Yes she is funny and has a dry sense of humor... so I thought next bach for sure. But then, I looked at Matty BL... how he blushed when she spoke about his azz... how he laughed so naturally with her. All I could think when I saw them was an adorable couple

BUT.... I did not see the chemistry. The kiss was just lips not moving on each other. it was sweet though, but chemistry? not sure. But he jumped on her when she mumbled about him being the bachelor and how she tried to explained that she is not top model material.

Now. this said. When you see this picture compared to the first 1-1, I do see a huge difference in intimacy... He is brushing his hand on her while she is on top of him. She was way more reserved on ep6.... so for me the chemistry will increase.

Somehow, I think Matty can really fall in love if he fall in love intellectually first. Then he will find the woman beautiful. This is what happened and said with Laura... and he did the same with Tara during his PI

what I found important with both Laura and Tara, it's on both dates they could talk.

They are of course 2 different personalities but they are both mature. one shows it inside and out (Laura) while one show it inside while she prefer to be goofy.

Florence got an adrenaline date, Elora got the swimming date, cobie got the horses date (although the closest to have time to talk). Lisa got the tennis date.

I believe early one Lisa was her top choice but I think he took a major step back when she explained that she is at a dude place and does not even envision a relationship with him and she did not even came for him but the adventure. That was a cold shower if any on his ego and his crush.

The good thing with matty is that we can read his face so easily. upset, embarrassed, interested, falling for the girl, happy, unhappy, OTT. He is an open book from a BL perspective: he likes or he does not.

However, I think he is not extremely mature and love to be playful. I saw it that way with Georgia. He cannot be that way IMO on his season but I see him with a lot of energy as well.

this is before he met the girls:

Matty: I am a romantic but I do not believe at love at first sight

Matty: I...... I believe at love at the first conversation... which does not have the same ring to it

I want someone adventurous, do a lot of sport. I love sport and I love being active so on WE if I can surfing or hiking. I do not want to say tennis because you are very good at tennis. So if I can find somebody who can do that with me, I think it can be a good foundation to build on something more

It is hard to make a choice between LAura and Tara. But if I check the teaser which gives us the full story, we see:

it does not matter if both girls laura and lisa are crying because their BFF left (I am thinking Alix for Laura). A lot of girls are emotional at the RC when their friends leave. My point is that they used the material VO and visual and CREATED a teaser/scenario with a possible recap of this season.

somehow, I think matty will get his slow burn love....

but hat is really interesting is the change from Laura to Tara on FINALLY PREVAILS. it is not Tara to Laura..... it is Laura, then Tara.. which I think is significant regarding who may be F1

He is worth the risk of being really really hurt

(interesting that we have VERY HURT with Laura and REALLY REALLY HURT with Elora... which is IMO the level of love/interest I actually see from both with Matty)

Hmm. So we know that Matty is athletic from Last season and then in ep1 he tells us. Would he pick Tara, a girl who was freaking about getting on a double bike ? How would she go surfing and other sports with him when she seems one of the least athletic In The house.
Same with Laura. Perhaps she is athletic but the edit does not tell us this so far. The edit tells us that she is artistic instead. Jmo.

Laura said that she loves water, in and out. I think he said: good answer.

Tara does not seem athletic but because she did not say it, does not mean she is not. Yes she is portrayed more homey/foody but her date was that way. One activity is not all sport activities

@sprite said that Laura reminds her of Lily and I agree. She looks very low key, kinda free spirit. She has a fun nature and laugh easily. However, I think she and he said that on the boat she talked to much because she was nervous... so it is not real conversation. They had also this painting which was playful and very flirty but here again no real conversation. They talk at the evening part. Laura was his first kiss. He looked really like a kid in a candy store. Is it because it was laura OR is it because it was in front of the cameras and it was his first kiss of the season? (CMIIAW but Cobie went after right?)

At first I could not understand why tara got so much air time during the PI.... I thought prods loves her because she is entertaining or because they wanted to promote her next bachelorette... then I see her front line at RC ep1, ep2 (need to check 3, 4 and 5)... she is also called first at one RC. So the connection with matty is definitely hidden. But when I saw the SD... then it made sense that she is a frontrunner.

The edits looks like they show us all the crushes he had..... to FINALLY love prevails with Tara.

Laura had a very early SD... same with Elora.... Florence got the adrenaline leap of faith date which should not be discarded since she has a 2nd SD but the foliage is not Thailandish imo and I think it is her in the helico and we do see the ground is not thailandish too. They are going to do some pottery I think. I do see the same dark shirt on Matty and the black top on Florence and they are more mid-temp rather than hot temp

However, Matty and Tara have summer clothes on them which looks like the temps are warm.... so I am thinking australia where they have werds of camels and camel treks. could be northern or southern too as the foliage is also green behind them, so do not think it is central desert australia.

I do not see any 2nd date with Laura that I can identify. We are sure Elora has a 2nd date and I think it is in a warm place since they are kissing in water, and it looks like at the end of a mountain maybe? rocks are dark... no foliage to check but the swan looks like a small boat or a pedalo kinda which is very asia related. Plus the kiss at the door which I think is a kiss at HTD - SC LINK

so possibly the girl on the wood boat where I identified thailand is maybe elora and not laura

which looks like Tara and Elora top 2?? then Florence F3 and Laura F4??? It does not make sense because we all saw the chemistry with Laura.......but we also saw the chemistry with Lisa.... and no lisa on a SD on the teaser.

I dunno but I love it to do not know...  

PS: I think Elise will get her SD since she worked so hard to get one with the fishing RC.... just like Florence with the teacher
