If Laura is coming across as much older than Matty; isn't that that's how some saw Georgia with Matty as well? I don't want to be a proponent of the GL 2.0 theme but I just find it weird now that the same thing noted between GL and Matty is now being noted between Laura and Matty....so unreal that there is a similarity in how the 2 ladies are coming across as the same with Matty hmmm

IA with pretty much everything you're saying @AllAboutLove. Although I think Laura seems more his age than GL did - GL always seemed older to me, and it didn't surprise me that she chose Lee who was also a bit older.

I have a feeling we're all going to fall in love with Elise when we see their date. The best dates between Matty and GL were their croquet date and gin making date, and I have a feeling the hockey date will be similar. Lots of laughs, really great banter, and then intimacy at the end. Fingers crossed.

IA. Lisa is definitely Megan. She doesn't seem interested in Matty at all. And her SM makes me think she is confirming that she wasn't into him. Lisa's M&G was Matty basically jaw dropped and in awe of her. However, the feeling wasn't mutual going by Lisa's reaction, and I think that's key. As the saying goes "she's just not into you" JMO

I don't think SM has picked it up yet that Lisa is not into Matty...some comments from fans on her IG are hilarious.....some think the show needs to end and for Matty to pick her & others are placing bets on her to be the winner...they will be shocked laugh out loud

ETA re Osher he has said the same crap over and over again about the lead not picking who he thinks...it's a stunt at this point IMO because he has always supported the lead and the F1 as far as I know....jmo though.

I think Laura comes across even older than Georgia. The example you gave of Matty and GL playing croquet and things is one indication to me of this. I think Laura has a sense of humor and wit, but from what I've sleuthed Laura lacks that ability to act like a big kid in the way that G can. Elise on her SD makes me think she is more able to act like a big kid. Hot tub, and Matty Lemonade stand reminds me a lot of Matty and G's dates.

Will be interesting to see what happens yes

Oh ok thanks for the clarification...I didn't hear him say that for both GL and Richie actually. IMO though I still believe he supports the lead and the F1 because as I have posted before he comes across as geneuinely invested in all these peeps, jmo though.

The last time Osher supported who the lead picked was Sam Wood and Snez. Since then, after Richie and Georgia's season ended, Osher said he didn't pick the F1 to win and supported the F2.

It's why Osher saying he didn't pick F1 this season makes me think the narrative may be the same: F2 fan favorite over F1 and lead gets backlash.

interseting read.... one part in the article shows Laura and her sis in a ig pic....what she says reminds me exactly what Nikki posted post show about her sis....jmo

jeez this is going to come down to SC isn't it!! we have laura as the imo obvious love at first sight edit...and probably Elise as the love at first conversation edit.......

Really? I'm sure I've heard him brag that he can always pick F1 by the end of night 1. I could be wrong though.

Apparently he said the same about Richie's and GL's seasons as AAL posted upthread. I doubt he said that about Sam F (as a contestant and as a lead because she was their (Network Ten) darling IMO.

Pretty sure his wow was for the dress not Elise but your pickup of him not being shown saying anything to anyone else is very interesting. yes

What I found even more interesting about this interview was his raised eyebrows when talking about how you never know what might be around the corner and the way he leaped at the opportunity to agree with Gretel when she suggested the F2 think about "going on the Bachelor" (or in this case, the Bachelorette).

All this makes me wonder if the F2 has either already been approached in for next Bachette or, if Matty was having a hard time dumping F2, that TPTB indicated to him that they were going to make her the offer to make him feel better about it. Obviously they'll have to wait to see how the public reacts to her but I have a fair idea.
