Her dad was with all the adults from V's mom's side of the family both at the fundraiser and the meal with Nick and Vanessa in LA on the weekend of ATFR. As a family unit they seem to not let their past interfere.

Yes, that was great to see. I guess I wonder how that impacted her re her own relationships. I know for a fact that what I saw going on in my parents' marriage had a huge impact on my own. But I recognize everyone is different.

Absolutely, family dynamic is part of us Smiley

From the show, I thought her bro Pat was a laid back calming force, Melissa a more serious & anxious but caring type. Of the 3 Vanessa is much "bigger" - her flash of anger when her dad's SO mentioned "just a vacation"; her hugely emotional ILYs to all her students. IMO I think each may have reacted differently to the divorce.
As an aside: love her grandmother. I still remember the insta vid of her with a spray bottle smiling while cleaning sauce off of Nick's shirt. Such a tender response.

I don't think Nick ever left L.A. the IG pic was probably something that helped to give him a more peaceful, comforting feeling. Nice to see him out and about and helping with red cross calls/donations.
