Apollo Jackson - Jake Spence - Vintage Date Guy - Bachelorette Australia - Season 3 - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

Yeah very young. I know age is just a number but 24 and 37 is a bit of a difference so I hope he is quite mature. Interested to find out what is ethnic background is.

OK this is interesting.  According to his website, Jake was on tour in Indonesia until June 25th.  Filming began about 10 days prior and Sophie had already been on at least one date maybe two by the 25th.

Perhaps he was already committed before he got selected for the show and couldn't back out?  Could he be an intruder?  Imagine the entrance he could make - POOF and he appears in a cloud of smoke and glitter.  

ETA: Jake's vintage car date was July 3 so if he was an intruder and went into the mansion straight from tour around 26-27th June he must have made one heck of an impression to get a date so fast. Interesting.

Yeah I saw the same thing but just chalked it up to him being on the show during those dates and never updated his website to reflect that  

If he had been in NZ and Bali I think there would be some pics of him for those dates so will check to see and that could confirm if he was an early intruder or part of the original cast?

I'm getting an F2/F3 vibe from him.  Seems to be foregrounded in the BTS pics but being in show business I'm not sure he could make it to F1, as that would contradict everything Sophie has been saying pre-season about wanting a more "normal" bloke.

Good point. I am not sure though if it applies considering Lee was in a vintage car for his first SD. Courtney was in an old Kombi so I'd think that would be more like Heather's date. Dressing up in costume outfit like Jake did on his date may be more a clue, since Courtney also did that on his date (Matty somewhat at CP).

That said, I think it's more Jake's age that has me thinking no way he'd be F1, even if he wasn't in the entertainment business. I just don't see Sophie picking someone who is 24 or 25 year's old, no matter how mature.

I don't think he uses that account since the date was 2015 so not using it while on the show. Otherwise he seems quite locked down as well on SM so could definitely be a contender/frontrunner. I can definitely see him in F4 potentially

He's in my potential F4 as well @AllAboutLove.  

His age gives me pause but he may be very mature - we will need to wait and see.  Physically I do think Sophie will find him attractive - don't know if I've said this already but he reminds me of her most recent ex, Eric Grothe (though the resemblance to an ex may work against him of course )

I can see the Eric resemblance too but hopefully it's a good thing. Jake's age is definitely the thing that also has me most doubtful about F1 for him even if super mature. Which, honestly he actually does strike me as more mature and older than his age. He actually seemed quite interested in Sophie from the BTS pics I saw which I liked. From sleuthing him he seems like for all his entertainment career a rather down to earth guy and like a big teddy bear with a soft heart. I am looking forward to seeing more of him 

Yeah me too and as I have stated upthread, magicians are a different kind of showman to actors or singers IMO - many say they were shy/geeky kids who learned magic as a way to socialise/interact as they otherwise found it difficult. Jake has me intrigued for sure.

Found this in a comment on FB under the preview vid of the Bachelors arriving for Soph. Just a comment from another guy who audition with Apollo saying he's a top bloke so I think that's a good thing despite being young.
