I LOVED ERIC THIS EPISODE. He has my vote for next bachelor.

Peter..sweetie..I love you but I was disappointed this episode. I will never blame anyone for being logical about a situation but I wanna be sold a fantasy. ABC has spoiled me in that way. They had a cute moment though at the end of his date and also whispering to each other at the rose ceremony. I'll take what I can get

That type of dynamic is very common in my culture and I think it just comes down to the son having to eventually put his foot down and establish some boundaries. I think Rachel would be a good person in facilitating that, since she's really headstrong, but also very warm and loving. She seems like someone who would be able to force Bryan to establish boundaries, but also put in the work to be a part of their family. I do think that getting out of Miami is the #1 most important step and if he's able to do that, I'll have a lot more confident in the longevity of their relationship. IMO.

eeeh see, I'm not sure if I want sis rachel to be the one to try to change Bryan. Mama Abasolo was very clear on what would happen if anyone tried that ish with her family. She was basically saying "get in line or get gone". Rachel's got judge Lindsay though so maybe she should go ahead and try

If Bryan And Rachel are really serious about each other they should be able to overcome the family situation. Rachel is smart and can handle herself, so i also believe that Bryan needs to put his foot down if this issue ever confronts them. On another note Eric has my vote for next bachelor. Peter is good looking, kind and all but Eric has WAY more personality. Peter’s season would be boring and dull...i just dont think Eric has enough time left to win Bach nation over since most of it already wants P as bachelor

I have a very similar experience. My husband comes from a very close family and he's the only son, his mom's favorite child. One of the reasons he broke up with his ex girlfriend is she would never ever consider to live with his parents. We are of the culture that you respect and honor your parents, taking care of the elders.
When we got engaged, when my parents first met his, his mom said in front of all that she wasn't very happy when when she learned that my family was very different from them in term of belief system.

But guess what? After we got married, she never ever criticized me at all. She knows I love her son and take very good care of him. I completely won her over. It helps we lived in different states when we first got married and my husband loves me very much. We had some boundaries so we could build our relationship stronger without his mom close by. Now they live only a few minutes away from us and we see each other a lot.

So I think if Bryan is willing to move away, they work hard on their relationship, they have a chance. IMO.

Yeah, seriously. He wrote a 7-page essay on how horrible everyone is being to him when the worst that was said to him is that he didn't say ILY yet. I can't imagine what he would do if he was getting the levels of hatred that Bryan gets. Or Rachel gets, for that matter, as she is getting dragged for dumping Dean tonight and for being an idiot who only cares about the physical and lacks empathy and deserves to be with a cheater like Bryan. I just can't with this guy. His Bachelor season is going to be a loooooonng one if he's going to keep having these weekly "omg, no one has ever suffered like I have" rants. IMO.

**edit** Thin skin, thick skin, or whatever kind of skin of you may have, ***IMO*** NO ONE should have to put up with social media bulling, especially not over something like not saying I love You when you don't mean it.

Woah. Twitter is brutal towards Bryan. He just comes off as so insincere. For Rachel's sake, I hope he's not. I can't see him moving away from mom for any lengthy amount of time. As for Peter, he is just having normal doubts that all contestents should have. He comes off as the most normal to me. Would love to see him accept the bachelor offer but wouldn't be surprised if he didn't. Eric is awesome and stole the show tonight!

Today is a sad day in our society. Peter not saying to Rachel in 2 full dates that he is in love with her, seems to have got people crowing, sending death threats, bashing him for his truth. Sending nasty vile post to Rachel because she choose to follow her heart.
Peter stands up for Rachel, but I guess the supposedly fiance a.k.a. (Bryan) dont even care, is singing about his mother instead. He has not post one thing defending anyone other than him self. I guess his true colors was shown on the Ellen show. I cant wait to see his face when Rachel tells him, you are not chosen.

Some of us already realize he really is not the final 1 Peter is. I am sure the proposal to his love is worth it, afterall she is glowing from within. THIS IS ALL MY OPINION. IMHO
