Bachelorette 13 - Rachel Lindsay - Episode 8 - July 17 - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

“We really have such a wonderful relationship, that for me a woman that separate him from me — that would be terrible,” Olga tells us. So she’s not about to let her baby boy walk off with some reality TV star.
“You have gone out with so many girls, and you go to a show, and you fall in love with the girl of the show?” says Olga, with a wry laugh. “I’m in shock!” Mom wants Bryan to take his time and “get to know” this woman before doing anything rash. “And she knows if she messes with the mother, that’s not good,” warns Olga. “That’s not being smart. Because we are blood.”
Over in another room, Bryan’s step-sister (or cousin? family friend? Bryan referred to himself as his mother’s “only child”) is filling Rachel in on why things didn’t work out with Bryan’s last girlfriend. “She was threatened by the relationship that he had with his mother,” says the unidentified brunette. “She wanted him for herself, so that was her demise.”
Is it me, or is it starting to sound like Bryan’s family is in the mafia? Case in point: “I want to give you a warning,” says Olga when she sits down with Rachel. “You are marrying the family, too.” And in case you’re still not convinced:

Instead of being offered the next Bachelor lead, maybe Peter can get cast on the next season of Westworld as one of the hosts. #domoarigatomrroboto

Jos mom recently responded to someone on insta and said they'd be drinking straight from the bottle too if they had been in the kitchen with all the fighting and drama (referring to Jo with her guard dogs...I mean brothers ). I don't think Bryan's date was that stressful? Think mom was just caught in a bad moment in that particular cap.

what's so funny is that Eric's mom was saying she cut the cord early to prevent the very type of situation Bryan has with his mom! This show is hysterical. You know they planned that.

This episode was meh except for dean. I went in with the objective of warming up to Bryan cause I love rachel and to some extent I did but the red flags just keep on coming.

1. Bryan's love seems conditional in regards to his family. There's nothing wrong with having a close neat family, but they seem to insist that they have to come before anything else in Bryan's life and I think he believes the same as well. which begs the question of whether his mom will even allow him to move from Miami?
2. The many many girls Bryan's mom kept bringing up
3. Placing sole blame on the girl when talking about his last breakup
4. Bryan's mom saying no one should be more important in Bryan's life than her? IDK if I'm remembering that right

Those two are cute I'll admit but unless rachel is ready to live a life of conditions after conditions from Bryan's family, I don't see it lasting

I LOVED ERIC THIS EPISODE. He has my vote for next bachelor.

Peter..sweetie..I love you but I was disappointed this episode. I will never blame anyone for being logical about a situation but I wanna be sold a fantasy. ABC has spoiled me in that way. They had a cute moment though at the end of his date and also whispering to each other at the rose ceremony. I'll take what I can get

I dislike him more and more and I don't even know why.
I liked him only during the first date.

Who knew for such a tiny cute lady, she would be so scary? Like Rachel said Bryan's mom is a fireball and so is she (Rachel). Can't wait to see how it turns out for them. This should be interesting.

But if they SOMEHOW managed to combine forces and unite with regards to Bryan, he would have the fiercest women in his life protecting him.
