Peter does not know how to talk to a woman he is in love with. A good day with a woman you are in love with is telling her you are in love with her. Tell her.
It's great to tell you you liked her getting along with your friends and family. It's great telling her you enjoyed the day. But that isn't what she wants to hear.
If you can't tell her how you feel about her and why you love her with your family, nothing else matters because you aren't in love with her.
And I think that's what he told Rachel. He is not in love with her.

Congrats to all the sleuthers who from day one knew he wasn't into Rachel and was never going to be the F1, sleuthing at it's finest.

I have a hard time believing he's the next bachelor.

ITA that Peter told Rachel he doesn't love her. I don't think it makes him fake. He is just not in love with Rachel imo.

I find Peter's awkwardness and honesty endearing but he's definitely deadwood now. Bryan's telling her everything she wants to hear and more while Peter's like "I had a fun day, thanks".

He does not look that scared to be sent home if I dare to say.
Well, interesting situation since she still keeps him all the way. I do think the infatuation was with Peter. And she tried to make it work but in the end was just in love with Bryan.

Okay it's all good and dandy to be realistic and yada yada but if he suddenly has a change of heart and gets engaged as the Bachelor, oh man
