Before I changed my mind, I was going to school to get my doctorate in physical therapy. This is referred to as a DPT. If we are using the initials at the end, Bryan's would be DC.

So yes, while he is technically a Dr. because he has a doctorate, he's not an MD. I sideeye people who call themselves Dr. that aren't people who are MDs or can perform surgery (like dentists) because 99 out of 100 the ones I've met use that Dr. to make themselves sound cooler/more important or make people think they are actual medical doctors.

Just my two cents as someone who was very close to her doctorate.

I have no problem with anyone who has a doctorate calling themselves a doctor. I, however, think it's dodgy when someone who's considered a healthcare professional is selling weight loss teas. It's even worse when it's a pyramid scheme, because I just personally hate pyramid schemes. Some clearly have no problem with them, which is fine, but I do. To each their own.

But is there proof that he's still selling them? I haven't seen any.

I have no problem with him selling teas. He obviously according to the youtube that was posted, used it himself.

There is no difference to me than the personal trainers who endorse protein powders and whatever else they consume or the items I purchase at the local health store. The company has been around for 16 yrs according to their home page, if they were a scam or pyramid scheme I don't think they'd be around that long.

It's not in his bio on IG any longer.

I personally don't believe in MLM products and will not buy them but my BFF sells them to earn extra money and the friendships formed from the community. Still, no matter what, she's still my BFF and it's not a stain on her character IMO. So I can't judge Bryan on that either. But to each it's own.

@mindless

I appreciate your honesty/opinion and I agree with you that as a healthcare professional if those teas are harmful in anyway he should not sell them (I don't know if they are or not, we can only speculate), but kinda bothers me when people call what is doing a "pyramid scheme", what he is doing is MLM(Multi-Level Marketing). Those two are different. Pyramid scheme is defrauding people of their money in the long run and anyone doing that does not get a pass I'm my book.

the pyramid scheme typically starts with one person – the initial recruiter – who is on top at the apex of the pyramid. This person recruits a second who is required to "invest" a certain amount, which is paid to the initial recruiter. In order to make his or her money back, the new recruit must recruit more people under him or her, each of whom will also have to invest. If the recruit gets 10 more people to invest, he or she will make a profit with just a small investment.

MLM involves being recruited in order to sell a product or service that actually has some inherent value. As a recruit, you can make a profit from the sales of the product or service, so you don't necessarily have to recruit more salespeople below you. While you may be encouraged to recruit other salespeople whose sales would give you more profits, you can stick to just selling the product directly to the consumer if you choose.

My doctor sells/promotes vitamins/health supplements. Is it the same as Bryan selling teas? I am genuinely curious to know people's opinions here.

I'm worried for her too. I was a huge josh fan and now I'm cautious of anyone who speaks in Bachelor Nation Speak and buys into the fairytale of the show as much as Bryan seems to have. Hopefully he's clear headed and reasonable irl and rachel isn't just buying into his shctick because she's so used to being serious and strong and here he's giving her an out almost.

If it helps, I was one who was never a Josh fan and always thought he was full of crap all during Andi's season. Meanwhile, I like Bryan just fine. As others have said, the issue with Josh wasn't the cheesy and corny lines. It was the undertone of control and possibly rage issues you sensed during the season.

I see none of that from Bryan. I am not surprised by the contestants who've been eliminated who describe Bryan as very chill and laid back because that's how I've felt he's come across. He really does seem solely focused on just Rachel.

I sometimes get the impression that Bryan barely even thinks about the other guys. And that's not meant in a harsh way but just that he accepts that part of the show is that Rachel will date the other guys but he's focused solely on her and just their relationship and doesn't give the other guys and their relationship with her much thought. And honestly, I like that about him.

eta: Also, just from my observation, Bryan has gotten a lot of crap even before the season started. In fact, I swear it took me a few seconds to be sure I didn't accidentally click on an archived thread when I saw the talk about the lawsuit and the tea because I swear it was like deja vu and I felt like I was reading, word for word, comments I'd read before. All of this stuff had been brought up and discussed. So I'm not sure what pass he was getting.

And yeah maybe things aren't as bad here, probably because the moderators haven't allowed it but I've seen comments all over the place of how much of a disappointment Rachel would be to women, feminism, etc. if she chooses Bryan. People have called him sleazy, disgusting, repulsive, etc. and I'm always just left stunned and baffled as to where that's coming from. So I for one don't see Bryan getting any pass. I see a guy who has been labeled and judged very quickly prior to the season and the conflicting spoilers have only served to make some even harsher because they're pissed that who they wanted Rachel to pick she may not have.

Catching up on the last few pages but I don't think Bryan got a pass at all around here during the initial weeks. If anything, I found that he would be vilified on a regular to prop up the other potential F1. I have zero problems admitting that I got into supporting and defending him initially only coz of what I deemed was unfair condemnation of him to basically deify someone else who IMO was no better than Bryan.

I don't think any of these people are perfect and deserve to be put on a pedestal. They are regular flawed people like the rest of us. IMO The only difference is that we as an audience react to their flaws differently. Some are more bothered by Bryan's cheesy lines/detox tea, some are more bothered by Peter's questionable reasons, some are only bothered by Rachel having different standards for different suitors IMO. Some are not bothered by anything and just enjoy this crapfest for what it is IMO laugh out loud. (I love the seasons when I fall in that category so I can snark on all of them  cheeky )

At the end of the day, yeah, she's a disappointment to me but I also recognize that he's her best option so I get it. I'm interested to see their relationship post show and hope Bryan is more than just what we've seen. Rachel seems to think so anyway.
