Bachelor 22 - Arie Luyendyk Jr - Potential Contestants - *Sleuthing Spoilers* - Discussion

Most of the final girls were narrowed down before TPTB made the final decision on who was going to be lead, so IMO they'd be there regardless.  They will fill the story board regardless of who the lead is for the drama, crazies, drunks, etc.  There are normally only a small handful (3-5) that are specifically picked out for the lead.  Those are the only ones that would change, other than any that might back out once the lead is actually named, IMO.

Yeah I have no doubt the majority of the contestants are cast without any regard to the lead and the cast would be the same regardless imo. Doesn't matter who the lead is IA they are cast for a storyboard that TPTB have already in place long before they start filming. 

Also, imo the contestants primarily choose to go on the show so they can get SM followers, get a blue check mark on their SM, get opportunities, shilling/branding, create a blog, go on BIP/Bachelor Winter Games/be the next Bachelorette, etc etc. Any contestant that says that they went on solely for the lead imo is talking BS.

Since Arie was announced on Sept. 7th and all these girls had their phones they know who he is and have had a chance to google him and all the sordid gossip. If they believe everything they read on the internet then by all means drop out of this opportunity and wait until the perfect bachelor is announced because *cough* you are only there for him.

Arie is our bachelor like him or not and I believe the ladies who apply are no different than any other season.

Somehow I doubt the girls he ends up kissing will be doing a lot complaining nor will the fans who love seeing romance play out for the season.

The ladies of twitter doth complain too much.

I think girls can back out before season starts filming if they wanted out (due to thinking it was Peter)
But remember... majority of these people are here for shilling, model gigs, they couldn't care less whether it's Arie or not...
