The way she's questioning him without a lot of emotion makes me think she's seeing his admission as an out for criticism that she hurt the F2 guy. I think they are in it together going forward for a win-win: he gets to F2 (maybe for exposure) and she gets to have no flak about picking Bryan because they will mutually decide he will bow out.

Peter seems to be Reid 2.0 who I loved.

She looks sad imo, like she was not expecting that, but maybe that's why it will be easy for her to take him to F2..

Thought about it and IMO you're right, Peter is not a villain but I'd still say Machiavellian/extremely calculated.

I kinda give Ben H a pass because he voted for Britt and Kaitlyn singled out Shawn from Day 1, Ben never had a chance so the feels were mutual. I don't see that much of a problem with Ben sticking around hoping to be TB.

However TP informed everyone It was Rachel beforehand and if Peter wasn't there to be a Whaboom kind of guy or to enjoy the fancy trips then why did he come if it wasn't for the possibly of love.

Unlike Kaitlyn it appears that Rachel gave Peter a fair shot and even chased him. And all I saw in return was Peter say just enough to get to the next round.

Maybe she was more sad than overly emotional because he was just crying and blaming himself for whatever he has done to make the ex cry?

I thought she looked somewhat clued in when he was giving his explanation. Like she knows what is up and not blindsided by it at all. Lawyer Rach hat is on.

If she was truly in love with Peter, his admission would have been devastating. I say this as a Pacheco fan. It's clear to she loves TOG by this point.

IMO I don't think Peter will leave, he's gone weeks without being into Rachel, what's a few more.

I love that Peter was so honest to Rachel. To me it's a way more realistic response than if he had said that he was ready to propose. Maybe she wasn't emotional about it because she liked that he wasn't saying just what she wanted to hear? It's hard to say.

I think if Peter was all about being the Bachelor, he would never have said that he had doubts. He'd have been "playing" the brokenhearted f2 imo. I don't see that with him.

She honestly didn't show much of a response comparing this to when she asked Bryan if his family would approve of her paints the picture to me that it was all but over at that point anyway jmo

I appreciate his honesty I guess but it still seems like he's playing a part and doesn't really care jmo

Agreed. Her reaction is not even comparable to how Des or Georgia reacted during their seasons when the person they are chasing gave their doubts. There were no worry in her voice at all. Rachel is just like "that's unfortunate because I thought there some potential".

I completely agree with this. IMO- She's a little sad because it's unpleasant to hear but she's not devasted because it's obvious to me she's in love with someone else at this stage and luckily, he adores her back. Phew, I'm sure Peter is happy with that too!!
