Why would Production make Peter seem like a gossip queen if he wasn't one? Especially when he's their best bet for Bach.

I agree.
The edit has swung full circle this week for the 2 golden boys, Dean and Petey. Both of them are looking catty and both of the dates are looking sour. Whereas Bryan's date and edit swung upwards. Interesting.
This is how production may not be your friend. Dean may not be a great choice for TB after this and Petey may not either. The door might be opening for Eric and Alex.

This is so depressing. I love seeing how empathetic Rachel is.

I'm not sure Peter is getting the next lead. When MF ask on SM who people want. Chase is the one who gets a lot of votes as does Dean but since Dean has a girlfriend now. I'm not sure where that leaves us.

IMO, it's not jealousy, it's pettiness and so not a good look on/for Peter or Dean or any of them for that matter.  And definetly not a good look for their next lead, IMO.  And just a feeling but I don't think it's all production induced or encouraged.  

When someone shows you their true colors, believe it. And often we get good glimpses during filming, IMO.
