I thought last night was pretty good episode sans drama which most people on the forum claimed they did not want to watch. She cut a lot of the guys and the kenny moments was thoughtful/emotional, Eric had a cute date, the group date was a bit cheesy. So it depends on what you like the bachelor for drama or relationships. JMO

I do see Bryan as charming! For me, he is likeable, but he is also the type I would stay away from. With his charm, he may collect too many women! But I think he is Rachel's type. She said she likes trouble, even before he said "good" trouble! It's her choice!

I've seen other contestants also in fairy land and thought "where is this positive avalanche even coming from ?" or "you are writing peotry for this girl, you haven't even had a 1on1 with her for petes sake !".
For me Bryan is just one of them no different no less.

I also think that the edit is showing just the lala land aspect consistently. For me,  I would prefer to see  a little more real life reassurances and perhaps those will come at the end.

But iirc there have been other seasons when I have thought these people are off their rocker.  Where is the real conversations like where will we live ?  And found I don't get those answers.
This season it is one of the many storylines they have picked on.
Much like the previous season was all about the cheating and the one before that was all about the jealousy yet tenacity of the f1 because the lead couldn't keep her panties on).

@Dessler I agree. I thought it was a good episode. I didn't really like the group date, which I thought was a little boring, the Viking fighting, but I enjoyed all the rest. I think it's too much to have 2 episodes back to back. Getting saturated. They are going to air last night's episode again Monday night, if you want to go back for more.

Adam is easy because he's the one with the doll AJ. For a while I was getting Matt and Jamey mixed up. Matt was in the penguin suit so we didn't get to see him the first episode. It's very easy to know who is going home next, right?

After watching this weeks episodes if Rachel is really looking for a best friend and lover then whoever she picks should be able to talk about anything and everything.

IMO Bryan is getting the physical edit but does he even know Rachel? Peter can tell from a look and/or gesture what Rachel is feeling just like my best friends. Sometimes words are not needed.  He’s taking the time to get to know her by asking the surface and in depth questions.  Like someone here mentioned I am sure at this point Peter knows Rachel better than any of the other men. IMO he knows how she takes her coffee.  Whereas Bryan would probably answer just like me, smooth and Colombian. I kidd, I kidd.  (was too easy   ).  Of course, as the weeks pass that should change.

Rachel said Peter is the only one that “gets” her and is “very perceptive” to what she is feeling.  Maybe he did not want to kiss her after her 1 on 1 time with Bryan cause he picked up from her lack of lipstick & him running his hand through her weave, , that she had just finished making out with him.  Me being a germaphobe would be like could you at least go rinse,

I found it telling that last night Rachel & Bryan were finally discussing where they would live and his answer was when you’re 100% I’m in.  In what? What does that mean? Is he moving? She is moving? Peter & Rachel touched on this topic twice as shown to the viewers. She had to ask Bryan if his family would accept her at this stage.  IMO, there’s gotta be a back story there.  And being in a few interracial relationships myself just because we may have “loved” each other, everyone was not accepting and in this political climate if she chooses either Bryan or Peter unfortunately it is something they will face.  All JMO

What she sees as her personal and internal struggles may not be in the best interest for ratings or the storyline. So they could well be different things. The lead has no clue until they see the finished product how they will be edited.

I don't think I'd like Bryan whatsoever if Peter wasn't so much of a dud imo it just pisses me off that rachel needs to throw herself at him over and over and he doesn't react or care.

I get it's probably his style and whatever but this isn't the right environment for him then and I hate seeing such a wonderful, awesome girl throwing herself at him and begging for kisses. Even the coldest of the cold f1's have been affectionate physically with the lead, if not verbally reassuring. Peter is missing something fundamental and isn't a good match for her at all. He's all talk imo and wants to be led. Rachel is the opposite.

So thanks Peter for making me love Bryan

I've been TeamEric since ATFR, but I can see him getting next Bachelor edit last night. I don't want him to be the next Bachelor; tbh I don't think he is the type nor would he be a good one. He doesn't at all seem the type to date/handle 25 women. But I think he's perfect for Rachel. Still hoping. Don't do Bachelor, Eric! Don't do it!

His answer to her concerns about living so far apart really frustrated me. "I'm so ready". Ready for what though? It felt more like deflection than reassurance. Is he going to keep deflecting on all serious issues until they're engaged? That's what it seemed like when he said "when you're 100% in". It's like he's saying "we'll work all this out once you pick me, now let's make out". JMO.
