Ummm, what the? The official bach IG page just tagged Laura in their post! It's just getting weirder and weirder...

@Sundy.....even weirder IMO they tagged both Matty and Cobie it their posts below and also Matty and Lisa.   what the heck the show is doing via SM this season.

So strange. Never seen this before. Seems the girls SM is the property of not only themselves but Bach HQ as well

I'm almost disregarding all SM posts this season for that exact reason! The posts are just as planned/produced as the show, both pushing the same story themes :P

They also plugged Matty and Laura on FB. They are really plugging Laura. This is making me very suss. Either Laura is not F1 or they received so much backlash for hiding Alex/Lee's connection they're going for a straight up love story.

Have production ever worried about backlash before and produced a super obvious follow up season?

I always see Sam/Snez as the super obvious season after the debacle that was Blake IMO. It was like they had to produce a near perfect story to make up for the mess and fallout of Blake being so sleazy. I know there was some backlash over Heather, but allowing Sam to let her go before F2 certainly dialed back the potential hatred/backlash (and IMO the producers have a fairly big say on who can stay and who can go!). But thats just how I viewed Sam's season.

It wouldn't surprise me if they are trying to do something similar for Matty's season (an obvious love story). He is incredibly well liked. And I'm not sure if Channel 10 can afford (literally) to anger so many of its key demographic if Matty chooses the "wrong" girl

But is the backlash long lasting this year (compared with the Blake fiasco) because according the the SMH article posted upthread this season has one of the best rating ever. So there has been no real consequence to the edits/lack of love stories - will the producers be changing it up without actually having to?

Its not true that this season has the best rating. I think SMH is referring to the current rating for shows on Ch 10. Even Survivor has lower rating.

I think we could be in the same situation as we were last year when we thought we had lots of caps for the overseas trip in the first extended promo and it played out that a majority were in Sydney. I recall having Faith overseas due to the pool scene and it was actually Sydney. It could be that most of the caps are in fact Sydney, with the exception of the wooden boat and island caps. I agree the Laura and Matty cap looks like Sydney to me.

I tried looking for the Calabria wine but I think the white label on the bottle may be the back of the bottle? I came across a few bottles same colour and shape but the label is throwing me off.

Hmmmm.....Sam and Snez were not an obvious season IMO to either sleuthers (at least until the final season promo via SC analysis) or the general public. There was so much Heather as F1 and it was when poster @natik discovered that Heather's SC was missing from the F3 was when reality hit IMO. As usual some folks kept sleuthing BTS and that's how I found out that there was so much evidence supporting Snez as F1 if one was looking at things objectively. So far for Matty's season IMO, the edit / spoilers is all about Laura as F1 and we will see if the producers show a plausible other F1 in the edit or they stick to the obvious edit for Laura as F1....all jmo.

@Sundy....I am going to try and find Richie's season promos to compare when we got the overseas date SCs, that is if it was part of the initial season promo or the final season promo.
