I wish to move on now. Just show me the happy couple and I am done with this show

Maybe the simplest answer is Rachel wanted to.
Speculations on my part but maybe:
She wanted to wear the watch to reassure Bryan her feelings, since she could not say ily back to him.( I think she really really wanted say so on his HTD)
She wanted Bryan to meet her friends to show him off, to assure friends she found the one.
All Jmo.

Even with the obvious signs, some still think she chose peter. Didn't Ali say so?
So I think edit wise, people see what they want to see.

Actually, imo, the edit is giving us the hesitate Peter and the confident Bryan edit that would normally lead to a Peter F1.  Because the edit focused so much on Peter's hesitancy it leads viewers to believe that Peter will finally become clear and confident enough to propose at the end.  However, it looks like it didn't go down that way since the sleuthing found that Bryan IS Rachel's F1.  All jmo.  ETA it add:  Or, Rachel turns him down after being sooooo unsure about proposing that she questions whether the proposal is sincere.  Again, jmo.

I rewatched the last 2 episodes just to see if I saw things differently. Bryan is still my favourite and he really loves Rachel and isn't scared to show it in every way - lucky girl. However, I'm still confused by Peter and the sweet things he says to and about Rachel, even though he says he's not quite ready for a proposal yet. Why would he say those lovely things plus the key and the cork messages. Because of this confusion and mixed messages, I keep thinking that something happens and Rachel picks Peter.. I know it's been sleuthed that Bryan is f1. I can't wait for the final - this season is dragging.

Imo there's no way to explain Rachel and Bryan being at the same house during a shv. Producers wouldn't just take them there separately in order to post a few ig pictures, then a while later spill the info here. Regular viewers don't care about the spoilers, having many seasons spoiled year after year hasn't affected the show ratings, so TPBP don't care.

And then there's the announced first Q&A with Rachel and her man on the 9th, and the following media tour. Meanwhile Peter just announced his fitness boot camp on the 12th . I mean, Peter can come across quite detached, but after waiting for months to get to be out in the open with his fiance, Peter decides to organise a boot camp instead. If he was the F1, that would be beyond cold.

Add all the other behaviour from Rachel and Peter. She's defending Bryan everywhere, while engaged to Peter? They'll organise 2 engagement parties, one of them in Miami?

Aside Kaitlyn and her snapchatgate, IMO this is the most spoiled season ever, by Rachel, her F1 and F2, added Rachel's Bach friends. There just can't be that many coincidences, IMO, the facts speak for themselves. Jmo.

@justlooking IMO there is no other way to interpret this interview she just gave as being anyone other than Bryan. And believe me I tried and tried to see if it could apply to Peter but it was impossible.

I saw that too on reddit - IMO, that's overzealous Pachel fans who are jumping to conclusions. They were basing it on this shot from an early promo - they believe that it took place in Dallas because of the skyline and that is Peter's arm to her left, because they think it's the same watch he wore on HTDs. Even though there are no shots of her friends, they're assuming it's Rachel introducing him to her friends. I'm not a SC expert, but that sounds like a huge leap to me. IMO.

I'm up late for work and bored, so obviously my mind is all over the place and I have some questions.

There's something fishy about peter and rachel. Somethings just don't add up in my head.

From the preview, it seems like Rachel is basically talking to peter at the f3 rose ceremony cause her words only apply to him, "I did not come here to find a boyfriend" (paraphrased) instead of the normal mantra she gives of "to the guy I'm about to send home..."

Why have peter stay beyond f3 if he wasn't gonna propose and he'd already come far enough to be bachelor if indeed that's why he was still around?

If peter does indeed have the last LCD, literally before the FRC, why go through with the whole date into the night session before breaking up with him if she already knew she was gonna be engaged to Bryan THE NEXT DAY? why not breakup with him after the visit to the church where he was seemingly still adamant about not proposing?

I understand crying during a breakup, but why would someone be so gut wrenched to the point where they think they're making a mistake if they're already certain that the person whose proposal they're going to accept was always the one?

Just me and my late night/early morning thoughts. Maybe I'm sleep deprived but all this makes it hard for me to believe rachel was all about Bryan from week5/6

I believe in the show setting, the lead girls give it their all.
Whether it's infatuation or true love.
For me that's Rachel giving her all to make it work and them coming to the rrealization it won't.
While at the same time, she was falling in love with Bryan and giving it her all too.
If we have to go by gut wrenching cry as an indication the lead is all about one person or another, I think Ashely, Des, and even Ali are examples of the fact that you can be sad about one relationship and be in love with another guy.
Like Rachel said, they, women, choose pass infatuation.
Peter was Rachel infatuation. It just happens he didn't want to "give up" on her and they had to see it through, crying and all.
Just my two cents (in my opinion)

I tried to figure it out the timing of the events and I am always puzzled.
We know for a fact that Bryan is F1 (sleuting and Astrid) but how Peter left?

The only logical explanation is that at the F3, somehow, Rachel decided to keep Peter because the TBC portion did not end so bad but on another dot dot dot because Peter gave again just enough for him to stay.

So F3, Eric leaves. Still thinking he is the pick to be next bachelor and F3 position are generally just that. Dean went to BIP.

But IMO, the events started during and after the monastery. We saw Rachel totally not impressed when Peter spoke with the Prieur. We saw her faces when he spoke about marriage. At this point I think her tweet about wanted someone who wanted marriange AND (capital letter) with her, says it all.

So they talk and talk a lot and noone wanted to give up. They did not find a compromise. I think Rachel was more obsessed about wanting Peter to be maddly in love rather than the proposal itself. I think it was just a symbol.

So why did she react like that if she loved Bryan all along? I think she was no different than Desiree and Ali.

So IMO, the season of first, is that SHE INTERRUPTED THE LAST DATE WITH PETER before the evening portion (never done right?). Then they both went back to their hotel. No evening romantic portion. No sleep over. Then she decided to go to his hotel and say goodbye. We saw her coming in and coming out. done deal.

The segment where he cried river, because of his different clothes, could be right after she went to see him. He could very much have had a shower and a change of clothes after the monastery.. OR he could just had a meltdown alone after his return...

That Rachel was emotional and crying. I am not surprised. She cried for Alex. She cried for Matt. So of course, since she is infatuated with Peter, she would cry for Peter. She said however in PI that she did not think it would be so hard to let go (Peter... not verbatim and definitely a cut here).

I also think that she had her fantasy date with Bryan BEFORE Peter. This is why she said she thought to make an easy decision because on one she was on cloud 9, the other she was underground.

The only element I am trying to make it fit is when she go see Bryan and we see Bryan upset. I believe it is the following day she said goodbye to Peter and this fit the "she almost sabotaged everything". And this also fit her saying at the FRC "I hope he did not have a change of mind (after our talk?).

Then following day we shall see the pink dress clarity moment and the pick the ring by bryan.

I can see her interrupting FD BUT she couldn't have said by the same night since qe had the F3 rose ceremony after that.

AlsoI if Peter is second LCD, the next day should be proposal day.

I think she had the date, then think about her decision and cries a bit (we've seen her do that a lot during the season, remember alex RC) and go to his hotel room to end things.

For Bryan, since it was his hotel room, I think it was at the end of his LCD and he was just feeling the pressure of the end and the separation. Like he didis at the end of his HTD.

So to recap
F3 RC Eric is let go
LCD 1 : Bryan
LCD 2 : Peter.
Thinking, crying, go to Peter's room to let him go, cry some more.

FRC: Bryan only showed up.

The "he doesn't change his mind" is classic last minute doubt.

The "sabotaged" has been covered already. It was because she was too much in her head about Bryan.
I don't see her sabotaging anything at this point after how she is protective of him and making him feel loved.
And I don't see why she would talk to Bryan before or after letting Peter go. Don't make sense to me.

Especially since both hotels are like 40min away by car (don't remember the exact time).
