@HEA I think the wedding is different she is on vacay but as many docs are now electronic I can see her working on her computer while in LA doing promos etc. I have a different yet similar job and have worked in some pretty strange locations.

so she took months from Nick seasons, then promo her gig, then again few months for her season and now she takes vacay for the wedding of her friend? Sorry, I am stubborn here but for me this is not a full time return job. This is partial time and she is taking the time off whenever needed and at random.

Not saying she is not working at all. She mentioned she went back but I do not believe the full time job for any of the 3.

This said... the sleughing about the possible SHV is VERY intriguing. It will be great if next time we have dates when they are seen on SM so we can build a calendar ;)

Many attorneys are able and do work from home, also. Not every thing has to be done from the office. So because it appears that she is not doing work, she may actually being doing more than what it appears.
Some attorneys also have offices set up at home in order to facilitate this.
Appearances IMO can be deceiving and can not be generalized or quantified.

totally agree here.
And a case can be a 12-14 hours straight work for a couple of days. but still I hardly see her taking confidential documents with her on her trips for the wedding and or LA promos. JMHO. And she also can accept or refuse a file/case right? She is not bound to have X cases per day/week/month. I also believe she could accept the "level" of the file. (not sure how to explain that). If the case is heavy, she will most probably spend endless hours on it. If the case is less "serious", she would spend less time.

all here is just thoughts I am sharing, not facts.

My SIL is an attorney. I don't think he has many options in refusing a case if he wants a paycheck. Just saying. There would have to be a good reason, like a conflict of interest, etc.
Nowadays much of the work is online whether office or not. Laptop, etc. No packing files. There really is no reason to get out of doing work.
I guess anyone at any job can continue to choose what to do and not to do. And eventually any employer will decide that person's value. My feeling is anyone is dispensable. Most law firms have a bottom line for any attorney as far as what they bring in.  I think Rachel has a good work ethic and will try to do what is expected of her. JMO

Most law firms now have the files electronically stored and the files can be accessed from any computer\laptop, so it is very possible for Rachel to be working on cases without physically being in the office.

JMO but I think when Rachel accepted 'ette gig, she knew the time commitment away from work that would be involved for pre filming media, filming and post filming media. I would think she likely discussed with her employer and they chose to accommodate her.

Rachel does litigation which can't be done part time because there are deadlines, court appearances etc. I remember looking up her law firm and it is not a small law firm. I suspect that whatever cases Rachel is currently assigned to, she is not the only attorney assigned to the case. Probably she is part of a "team" assigned to the file, does certain tasks that fit her current schedule, and the rest of the team handles the cases when she is not available.

I heard "prosecutor attorney" but not sure if it is referenced to her or Fred or Jack?
I am working in a company that forbid to use USB or whatever files with me at home. We have VPN but this is very strick. The company is both US/Can. On my previous job I could use teamviewer but with this one no way.
So I am thinking that she is working on very delicate files and for me I am biased to think that I do not see her working on the files outside of home and office. And I agree that we no longer use papers now, scans are the norms (thank Gawd for that!).
I am sure Rachel has ethic and I am sure she will never jeopardize her job (Daddy will make sure to remind her that anyway )

I am just trying to demonstrate here that she took maybe a year off and after FRC she could have time off whenever she wanted and is not back full time. Having more freedom means that she can have SHV anytime and not only week ends. I also wanted to tell that both guys can also have free time if they want too. They do not have desk jobs.

This all said. The sleuthing about SM silence done on this forum is amazing. For me I base my F1 Bryan choice on edits and BL but to see other ways to confirm this is truly interesting to match. well done everyone

@Hea I don't think she took a year off. JMOAA. She seems to be resuming work.
As far as Peter or Bryan, I would suspect whether they have desk jobs or not both need to eat and a paycheck to pay bills, the show is not footing them.
Either way, if they want to have SHV, I'm sure the couple is able to work them out. This is the least of their issues most likely.
