I wouldn't presume to tell a stranger that's made over $244 million what to do with his money or how to treat his mother. But that's just me.

I am very disappointed in Jordan's response. Don't know what is going on but the hurt is still very evident.

I listened to the press conference video and transcribed it. He says at in that sentence. The video is on Packers.com for all to listen.

I wouldn’t tell anyone how to spend their money and I certainly wouldn’t force someone who has willing closed off contact with their family to contact them. But that’s just me.

Do their parents still live in Chico? Half my family lives in Chico and I didn't need to check on them, mainly because I knew they weren't in any danger. It's hard to think about, but maybe if the situation was a little more serious there he would've contacted them.

Aarons tweet was some sort of trigger for Jordan and he's probably tired of the hypocrisy that Aaron is a "good" guy just because he's a stud football player. Aaron has the reputation of an arrogant jerk. I've never met him but can believe it. IMO

Aaron is a very private person even though he will be considered one of the best QB ‘s in history. He does a lot of charitable work for his hometown and Packers nation which he is loved by many people. If Jordan did not like his post he still should of said nothing. This feud has been going on for many years now and Jordan just needs to move on. IMO all he did was stir up more problems by airing their dirty laundry by his tweet. Aaron has never said a word about his family situation and that’s how it should be. He keeps to himself so maybe that’s why he is considered not very nice. The same thing is said about Tom B. JMO

Sorry Mods that I have contributed to veering off-topic into a discussion about Jordan Rodgers'  brother's continued IMO public abysmal treatment of his mother. We've been asked previously not to mention the brother or his former actress-girlfriend and his current race car driver girlfriend.

I don't scour SM looking for info on strangers whose only connection to me is through reality TV or sports entertainment, but I do read posts on here that pique my interest. IMO Jordan has done an admirable job refusing to talk about the estrangement from his brother when badgered by Chris Harrison, etc. I'll cut him some slack in a potential life or death-property loss situation involving his parents.

Totally classless behavior by Jordan airing his family's laundry and shows his true colors imo and says more about Jordan than it does Aaron. jmo

Thankfully, I am not estranged from family.  There are those I am much closer with than others, however.
IMO Aaron has compartmentalized where he stands with his family of origin and has moved on. Perhaps the closest he was able to reach out was his donation and bringing it forefront to others. That, in itself was beyond generous.  
Just curious, but was momma incapacitated that she was unable to evacuate, should need be? Also, interested in what Jordan might have done to help.

Bringing this forward because it’s very possible that his parents weren’t in damage. Yes the fire was close by but that doesn’t mean you are in danger (as someone who lives in prime wildfire area).

Bottom line is that Jordan would have been better served keeping his mouth shut unless he wanted to focus on bringing awareness to raising funds. That’s the most important thing out of all of this.

At the end of the day, Darla gave birth to him. She raised him. From what Jordan and Luke have said, they didn’t have a lot growing up, but their parents always put those three boys first. To not reach out to your own mother while she was at risk of dying or being homeless? That’s heartless, IMO.

From my understanding, I could be wrong, Aaron helped his family out incredibly at one poin in time, that help extended to his brothers.
Again, is his mother ill or incapacitated where she was unable to evacuate as many others did. Where were the other family members? That she was left stranded and in peril?

I haven’t said that Aaron hasn’t helped them out at one point or another. I’m sure he did. I would hope so.

I don’t think Jordan was saying he wanted Aaron there to help her evacuate because their mother couldn’t do it on her own. I’m not sure where their dad was, but Jordan and JoJo, and their other son Luke don’t live in CA, but they were apparently in touch with their mother and I think that’s all Jordan wanted. I’ve seen both Jordan and JoJo thank some fans who said they were keeping Jordan’s parents in their prayers.

I don’t agree with Jordan’s public statement, but I don’t agree with Aaron not reaching out as well. I don’t care how deep an issue is. I would check in on their well being.
