I think it's the floral tie he wore at the 2nd RC that aired at the beginning of epi 3.  When Nick proposed he told V he started falling in love with her at the 2nd rose ceremony.

 I immediately recognized it as the same tie from that 2nd Rose ceremony!
Love that Nick is wearing it - it holds so much more meaning knowing he wore that tie when he knew he was falling in love with V

Epi 3 began with the cocktail party and V&N's sitdown convo, other people's convos, RC, then the zero G 1-1 date - N&V's first.

Then it ended with Vanessa confronting Nick about Corinne. There was actually a lot of interaction that epi... Followed by a whole lot of nothing for 3 episodes

I had to get a SC just to confirm and yes it's the same tie Nick wore when he knew he was falling in love with Vanessa... and now wearing it when Vanessa is his fiancee and at close friends' wedding *swoon*   

It really is the little things that hold so much meaning
