Bachelorette 13 - Rachel Lindsay - Clues - F1- F2 - F3 - *Sleuthing Spoilers* - NO Discussion

Peter:

1) Not only does Terry follow Rachel, his best friend who nominated him (Amanda), and his sister-in-law follow Rachel as well. So does his friend Mikka, but she follows a ton of other people in Bachelor nation as well, so I put less stock in her follow.

2) On Rachel's end, her friend Skylar (who she featured on her IG story today) follows Peter and not Bryan.

Bryan:

1) His Tiffany (miamimami) follows Rachel but also a ton of other Bachelor people. His friend who nominated him, Pauldine, follows only Rachel and Bryan from Bachelor nation.

FROM RS THIS MORNING:
I’m sure all the Rachel/Peter fans are about to go into cardiac arrest, but I’m here to tell you…the spoiler I posted on May 17th was wrong. Rachel is engaged to Bryan Abasolo.

Peter: 
From Wisconsin. Rachel has ties to Wisconsin. 

Rachel's squad is seemingly pro peter. 

RS originally sleuthed as f1. 

Bryan:

RS corrected the spoiler to say that Bryan was f1. He said he heard last week that the spoiler was potentially wrong and then this weekend, his original source (who was also his source for Jojo/ Jordan) confirmed the spoiler was wrong as well. This is important because there was a rumored SHV last weekend. This could have been the information a source was aware of to tip RS off. 

Rachel has spoken highly of her fiancé in various interviews. Bryan was a rumored possible villain. She could be trying to set the record straight and defend her fiancé.

Bryan received a week 5 date which has shown to be favorable for "winners" whereas, no f1 has ever received the first date of the season.

Raven and Jasmine has also tweeted out positives for Bryan:

Brian and Rachel have undeniable chemistry. it's just there. #TheBachelorette 

Bryans got the swag! Okkkuur #thebachelorette 

I haven't seen anything suggesting they are overly pro-Peter over Bryan.

Arguments pro hidden F1 for either guys:

With Bryan they are showing him every episode so far but hiding substance and making it all physical 3 episodes in. However, Bryan is very visible. He's in so many itm's he's almost a narrator. He's not very hidden and his segments are shown weekly without any overlays or interruptions. The camera pans to him a lot.

With Peter they've had 2 convos where they show them together very briefly but someone else is talking about something and that's overlayed on top of the visual and short snips of their time together - first time whaboom, second time Fred, Bryan and Will talking about kissing Rachel. Peter is more hidden - doesn't have many ITM's and the camera does not pan to him very much

Argument for Rachel chasing a guy (typically a big clue for who the F1 is):

Rachel is shown during the 1:1 saying in the outfit she was wearing during that date that she "needs to know" if peter sees a future with them for her to move forward.
In the plane ride, she is so scared of the small plane that she leans on his lap and holds tight on his arms.

Rachel moves in for a hug during their dinner date. And tells him "that was nice" once he kissed her, she also told him "I'm not going to move" once she's hugging him and on his lap. 

During the dinner date she tells Peter "she's extremely hopeful - which is huge for her because she's usually a very skeptical, that she feels drawn to him, that she really wanted to give him the first date, that the date far exceeded her expectations" 

Rachel trying to catch Peter's eyes during the Ellen date - them smiling at each other after that.

Compared to other guys we're seeing that she's much more expressive and seeking Peter's physical touch.


Clues from an interview that she alluded to picking the guy that "has it all together" vs. the guy that she's usually drawn to "more challenging" guy

Bryan's opening line is that he's trouble and she responded saying she likes trouble. CH also hinted about a question later in the process about Bryan's readiness for marriage "he says he's ready but is he? we shall see..." making him more of a challenge

Peter was "you're so great...why are you still single" the edit is leaning towards him being the guy who has it all together. he also openly discusses children and having been ready to propose to an ex, it is likely he is ready for marriage and kids.


Opposite argument for clues from an interview that she alluded to picking the guy that "has it all together" vs. the guy that she's usually drawn to "more challenging" guy

Bryan is a chiropractor and has been doing that for some time, and his age 37 - he may be more established i.e. "has it all together".

Peter is more reserved rather than assertive with pursuing Rachel and therefore suggesting that he'd be a challenge for her if she is not able to see that he's into her as compared to the assertiveness and very obvious pursuit from Bryan.

Rachel wants a take-charge assertive, confident man:

Of what's been shown Bryan is the guy who has that unwavering confidence and boldness. He hasn't confessed much signs of being nervous or unconfident so far in the season.

Peter himself showed his nerves and seems to be consistently nervous when he in an itm confesses that he's nervous as **** but Rachel likes a confident guy so he will go out and give it his best on the Ellen stage. That itm reveals that being the bold, unwaveringly confident guy isn't his natural mode 

Rachel discusses being nervous to watch the show with her fiance:

Post-filming Rachel discusses being nervous watching the show. But she believes that her man is confident and that they have and can maintain a direct and open line of communication which will put them through this stage.

This can go either way but we've seen Peter being more neurotic than Bryan. Which guy would she be more worried about watching the show back? there's a big chance his nerves would mean it'd be Peter. 

But we may not have seen another/more vulnerable side to Bryan.

Rachel confesses her fiance doesn't like watching her kiss other guys

She confesses that her fiance doesn't like watching her kiss other guys and during that interview stage she'd only kissed Bryan in epi 1 except if her guy would be bothered by watching her kiss other guys in previews. This leans more towards Peter since epi 1 focused very much on Bryan's kissing which was very passionate.

Out of all the Bachelor guys' bios, Rachel only liked two that she was tagged in: Iggy's and Dean's. And in Peter's first post back, he hashtagged #TeamIggy and #TeamDean
