@Carine I believe after Peter home town date, reason = Millsy said on the podcast while she was on the home town date with Dean that she was in love and Exhausted. At the time I took notice, then the other photo of them in the square on Peter hometown came out with both her arms wrap around him and him looking down at her, like they were in their own little world with the people all around them. I said to my self game over. Then RS release photo of Peter going on the first MTP date and it seals it for me. IMHO

Another thought. If Peter got the first 1-on-1 and didn't get his second until they were in Switzerland, then that could play into it seeming like "late-bloomer" as well- because we might have forgotten about Peter during those intervening weeks.

I personally think that things shifted in Switzerland. The sense I get from Rachel's interviews is that Switzerland was a major turning point for her. And in the promos, we see Rachel and Peter having an intimate and raw moment on the mountain. And from then, MTP and then HTD just added to that and swayed her more and more towards Peter, IMO.

I think a slowburn/"late bloomer" might just might mean that the relationship improved gradually on curve as time went on whereas the F2 might have started stronger than F1 but plateaued over the course of the series. That's just my perspective but I think it's a great foundation for the long term...

That said Bette Aus S2 kept saying her F1 was a slowburn and that was a red herring because she picked the really obvious one - so who knows

She went back and forth is an interesting one. Was smitten with Peter but the passion of Bryan kept her going back? Another case of Chris and Brooks I believe. IMO
