Is the order of HTD based on logistics, or is it based on the bachelorette preference?

It will depends on who get cut.

Alex is from Michigan, it's possible he could be first.  I think Matt lives in New York City.   Eric lives in Maryland. And Bryan lives in Miami.

It also depends and where they are going for the FD, which airport is nearest to get to.

Dean - apparently from LA
Eric - LA

Peter and alex are close to each other , so they can be first maybe or if jack is still in rachel flys home first and then go sees jack

TPTB will film in whatever order they want.  IMO and past sleuthing, it'll largely depend where they go next, as in which coast to fly out of.  That'll dictate where the RC is and some kind of order that makes sense, though sometimes only to them.

I believe Eric's family lives in Baltimore, and Dean's in Colorado (Aspen?).
