The other day I was getting a pedicure. Not only do they do a great job, they always have a big screen TV on with concerts. The Bee Gee's were on. It was great to watch and remember all those songs. I thought that it would be a great idea for a thread to post music vids from the past or recent ones.

LOL I knew it was going to be Rod Stewart for you.
This was the first Rod I fell in love with.

Shania because my friends and I got just tickets for her concert here in London next July. I've seen her before and she puts on a great show.

LOL, I don't think this is quite the type of video most would think of to highlight but I wanted to share anyway. Believe it or not, entertainment wise, he's probably the best I've ever seen at engaging the audience....and he could SING too. They were all covers but he could pull off anything he set his mind to. When I think of my favorite songs (I'll add those in another link), I don't think of him but when I think of my favorite concerts...his shows are probably the most fun I've attended as in a completely fun night.  His true fans were crazy.  He did so many different type of shows...I enjoyed them all. Being from Raleigh, too I felt I owed it to him to support him when he toured.  Anyway, I chose this clip  with nothing but pretty much banter... I hope you at least listen to a little (starting at 2:30 min) cause he's a hoot and I would guess most people would be surprised at how much personality he had.

@Sprite Good for you for getting tickets. My son got tickets for his g/f for Xmas for Adele, but the concert wasn't until Oct the following year.

I saw an Elvis impersonator yesterday at Fallsview Casino Niagara Falls. His name is Stephen Michaels. He was great along with a good sense of humour. He is not one of those cheesy guys, real good show. I found a couple of youtubes.

@GuardianAngel It was a lot of fun. Quite an eclectic crowd. I can still feel the beat!

I listened to them probably 5 times each. Pitbull had a New Years Eve special a couple of years ago. I just so happened to catch it, it was fantastic. He sang for an hour or so. Last year he had other bands playing and it wasn't as good.

I love his music.

I would love for everyone to also post new songs/artists they happen to hear on the radio and really like. I love all kinds of music but I seem to get so into one channel on radio when traveling I forget to search. Any genre! I just love music.

I am off today and enjoying a snow day since I am sick of shoveling snow. I was going through my pvr and saw his concert at the Apollo that I had recorded.

My friends and I saw him play during the Superbowl half time show and decided we had to go see him on tour. Fortunately he played TO a few months later and it was one of the absolute best concerts I have seen...and I've seen a lot of them.

Unlike a lot of artist who kind of have a very similar sound with their music, he can do it all...from a very haunting love song like "When I was Your Man" to the upbeat, dance music like "Uptown Funk". If anyone ever has the opportunity to go to one of his concerts...GO!!! You won't be sorry and you'll be dancing for weeks after.
