Bachelor 22 - Speculation - *Sleuthing Spoilers* - Discussion

Honestly, I would rather see Dean as The Bachelor than Peter. jmo

Unfortunately when I look at Dean I see Jef Holms, so he is a no for me too.

I want Alex! Unicorn for the bachelor. Eric and Ben Z would both work for me too.

I would skip Peter, Dean or Ben H.

This is whole season of Dean

He has no other expression. IMO

An entire season of Dean's giggling would put me over the edge!

So Monday's this winter if it is Dean or Peter anyone else want to join my ID watching club?

Travis Storm 2.0, maybe, he seems better on camera now.

Stork would be boring too. He has developed a great TV personality though.

That was my first season on a board ( nine of hearts) and the sleuthing and discussions were what made it one of my best !

TBH, I think Peter's likelihood of being the Bachelor is actually decreasing with each episode that airs. IMO

Me: "Hello, Cable Company? I'd like to report a problem with my TV"
CC: "What seems to be the problem?"
Me: "Well, whenever I watch The Bachelorette I hear a beeping sound coming from my TV, and it's been getting louder and louder for weeks now."
CC: "This happens just on Monday nights during the Bachelorette?"
Me: "Yep. Should I be concerned?"
CC: "Nope. Problem should be resolved in 2 weeks. No need for a service call."
Me: "Well, what do you think is causing the loud beeping sound?"
CC: "It's obviously the bus that keeps running over Peter, backing up and doing it some more." (In the opinion of my fictitious Cable Company)  

I honestly don't think that it is, because on practically every blog, podcast, forum, and most social mediums, people are praising Peter for being so reasonable and really taking engagement and marriage seriously. They see him as being sincere and not willing to put on a show to win, while Bryan is. They also don't have a problem with Peter making fun of Bryan's cheeks or saying that he doesn't want to sit with him, as they think he's being funny and honest. He mostly gets cheered on for that. People just really love him and are buying what he is selling. IMO.

One of the reasons that I think they may forego a season of Peter is his obvious disdain for the proposal. With the NL ring focus (sponsorship) of this show, would they really cast a lead who has so openly objected to proposing on this timeline? Makes me question whether TPTB would risk pissing off NL, when they could pick any number of yahoos who would willingly slide a flashy NL ring on the girl's finger and be photographed for magazines and show it off during post-season tv interviews, etc. IMO, Peter would not be a safe or prudent pick from that angle. Not that they haven't had past Bachelors forego a proposal (Brad, Jessie P come to mind), but there just seems to be more and more pressure on these leads to propose. Just a theory. Just one opinion.
