@mercieme from his Linkedin and Facebook (link in OP), it looks like he's worked in Utah (maybe close to his college?) and might have lived wherever the Marines headquarters were situated (I'm not sure how this works ).
He seems to like adventure/travel and from the limited info on his Facebook, has been to China (and most likely Hawaii because his mom appears to reside there) and has probably travelled a lot for his Marines service as well.
