Gosh, I'm with you @2observe, I have wondered myself. I don't know what that is about. He's wearing the same outfit at dinner when he tells her he loves her. I think it must be the FD date. Then later, they walk down the hall. It seems the rooms/hallway are not that nice, doesn't it. To be a FS or such. It does seem like he follows her though even though he pauses at the doorway. What are your thoughts about it?


On the htd, Eric is upset about how Rachel seemed to change. I'm pretty sure he is talking to a family member, and confiding how Rachel was after she came back in from sending Adam home. She was crying and he had to console her. Maybe he feels like after their 1:1 date, she is losing interest in him since he didn't get a 1:1 date in episode 7. And then she struggled who to send home. I think his family tells him he has to tell her how he feels. I think that was in the abc episode summary. But Rachel says Eric's htd was the most comfortable and it doesn't sound like there was any drama. Hopefully, we will get another preview tonight? I'm pretty sure Peter is F2, right? What do you think? If there is a foiler, Bryan's and Eric's places are backward. Because we know Dean is F4.

Did you watch the actual video? It was so quick that you'd miss seeing Rachel leaving out and Eric looking around before turning to leave. That's so odd to me. I couldn't think of a reason for him looking like he wanted to be sure of something before he turns to leave. jmo

When Eric and Rachel and his family were dancing on the couch, no one mentioned "Miracle Season", what he said to Rachel when he met her on ATFR. So for Eric, it became his hashtag after the season ended.

Eric is in NYC this morning. ? Media engagements, interviews?

Eric is getting so much love on SM and I'm so happy for him! They set the bar high starting with his family and no one compared IMO.

I like Eric- I just don't see them picking a black Bachelor right after Rachel's season. That'd be a bit too progressive for the franchise.

The franchise has been getting a lot of criticism for a long time for not having a POC lead. I think they would want to have Eric as the lead to show they believe in diversity. There aren't a lot of contestants who qualify. Just like with Rachel they have to cast the right person. I think Eric is their guy JMO

I truly hope from my heart that ERIC gets the bachelor gig. IMHO

I'm totally ok with Eric getting the gig and finding his HEA, Bryan getting his HEA with Rachel and Petey finding his HEA with himself and his expanding business.  Win, win for them all, IMO.

I think Eric could totally be the Bachelor. ABC will pick who they want most. Peter just seems so ant commitment to me, and also he keeps repeating that he's not ready to get engaged, so how the heck can he do the same thing in the same amount of time as the BAchelor. Nope.
