They took a drastic jump. If the changes are by 5 at a time, I don't sc it and come here to post it. I saw a major jump over night!

Between march 26th and today there is only a 17 follower decrease over 11 days. Given how drastically they declined between the 18th and 26th, it is not unusual imo.

I think eric is out now , bc I went to his profile this morning and it still said requested and now t says follow , so that means he denied my request in the past few minutes . IMO

Most likely, yes.
However, it could also be someone is operating his account on his request/behalf. I've done that before--taken over an account.

But why would they be allowed to not accept request? I wouldn't want my friend to deny all my friends request

If I received a request from someone I don't know it would be immediately rejected. Just saying.

My profile isn't private bc I don't care if they follow me , I follow only 100 people and 2k people follow me bc they are the ones seeing my stuff.

Friend request on Facebook is different bc I don't wanna see strangers.

I would not want to have anyone I don't know follow me etc. It's a personal choice. Maybe some are like this. Maybe some are like you. Maybe there are a lot between the two of us. It's a personal preference. I have under 250 I allow to see me. Approx.
Also when I maintained another's account, I rejected all requests.

Some contestants are not going to follow someone they don't know. Some will follow everyone that asks. One can't expect just because a request was sent to follow they will automatically accept them.

@cmarci93 Maybe he doesn't want people he doesn't know see what he's up to. Maybe he's cleaning his account, maybe he's keeping within the rules of his contract. There are many reasons, as sleuthers have been watching SM for years now and could tell most of the times what's happening. Everyone is different.
