Laura Byrne - Ep3 SD Girl - Bachelor Australia - Season 5 - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

@mercieme that's what I am holding out hope for. Otherwise I wouldn't be bothered watching. I am sure Laura is great but I am just not invested in Laura's story: the jewelry designer who shows her designs night one like an ad and doesn't feel maternal but maybe kids in 5-6 years and there's an order to things and likes kissing (that's pretty much the edit I've seen her get so far and I am not interested enough to speculate where her edit goes from here because to me it's really superficial so far already and who knows if they will make it any different).

Just watched an extra on tenplay with the stylist featuring the jewellery they use on the show - Laura's brand wasn't even mentioned. You would think if she had some sort of deal with Ch10 or was in it for a bit of promotion (which I'm not against tbh, might as well get something out of this if you don't win!) they would at least mention her company in the segment on jewellery, even if they didn't show her pieces? JMO

@Schnitty4lyf ....when you click on Laura's outfit  pics on TenPlay, her jewelry is listed on there as ToniMay with a link to her website. That's some form of promotion already that will get more traffic to her website IMO. In fact her ToniMay SM account has grown by over 2,000 flowers since the show started. So while the stylist may not profile ToniMay in the video you watched, Laura is still getting free ads IMO courtesy of the show. Just to be fair, I understand Laurina on Blake's season was able to advertise her clothing website as well, I only read it on here, I haven't confirmed it myself.

Maybe if shes F1 they need to promote the sponsors and not really her stuff or it might look bad...but i guess if laura is f2 then that would of been nice if they promoted her stuff for sure especially to lessen her heartbreak...so maybe she is f1

@LeapofFaith I like your thinking! Although it's not good for my health - I don't know how many times I can go back and forth on whether Laura is F1 before my brain explodes! hahaha

I am have seen tons of comments like this on SM. I have the same thought. To me it doesn't get me invested, it does the opposite. It makes me less invested when it's so OTT like this. And as much as I can say "well they are doing it different this time showing the love story" I still don't see that. I just see an obvious story. Again, that's just me and no different for most seasons I've watched

@AllAboutLove as acrimonious as Rachel's season off bette was - I liked a two horse race because it's interesting for the average viewer imo!

@brownravens ITA. I think the same for Richie and GL's seasons. Having earlier frontrunners for F2 makes for a more invested season imo. No matter who one likes more, it still makes it more interesting imo when there is that suspense. jmo
