Bachelor New Zealand - Season 3 - Zac Franich - Screencaps - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

@bobette thanks for the screencaps of the FRC of the past. The one thing I noticed is Richie & Alex interesting he is wearing a hanky with red which would match Nikki's dress perfectly but Alex's dress doesn't.

or I found interesting that zac said in an interview that filming only rapped up a few weeks ago? So does that mean they started the season without it ending? If so maybe that's why the edit points to Viarni as she was his number 1 then could he possibly of changed his mind at the end? JMO anyways In saying this they have put up videos on Facebook of the final 2 journeys I don't know how to bring them over sorry! But I found also interesting is Lily's journey is much longer and more romantic where as Viarnis imo is more fun but shorter? Why am I still confused I thought the scaps would give it away! Arghhh damn the clouds;)

@LeapofFaith ITA about that also. Plus, I found it interesting that Lily was the only one dressed differently in that shot. Plus also she was the shown behind the camera scene say "cut".

I keep going back to that red dress that is the exact color of the Colgate logo the exact color of the dress that Matilda wears for the Colgate promos the exact color of the red rose the exact color of the red petals in the preview @Katiebelle found on the Edge page................ the concern is that the story between and V may have the been edited so much that we do see what is real. To me the realness and connection are with Lily I just do feel it with V even watching the clip the Bach FB posted of the two women.

Ok - so I have just rung a friend that works in marketing and is a brand manager for a large company.

She said that with branding nothing is an accident and everything is on purpose. She also said that with branding the visual aspect is the most important thing and that they have a saying - "colour is king". She said this is real basic stuff and that everyone knows (obviously not me! ) and it's Marketing 101.

She doesn't watch the show but I asked her who would she choose between Lily and Viarni based on their dress colours and she said Viarni. She also said it is definitely no coincidence that the Colgate logo was on the bottom of the page in that shot of her with the red dress. And while we were chatting she googled Colgate Optic White and wasn't surprised that all their branding has a woman in a bright red dress just like Matilda and Viarni.

She added that Colgate will be wanting to get their moneys worth and there would have many visual clues throughout the season that we would have taken in but not be fully conscious of. I said that that's a little sneaky and she replied - hey that's just business.

Not sure if this helps at all. Any posters work in marketing? I'd be interested in your views.

@Karina @bobette @LeapofFaith here is my thoughts that I am trying to figure out.   I should say my questions that make me so confused.  First, am I so confused because I have watched so many different seasons/franchises that I get all the sleuthing signs mixed up and I can't figure out the tied and true things that help me with my sleuthing efforts to see and predict the F1.    I have always enjoyed watching my favorite and sometimes they are the winner and sometimes they aren't.  I enjoy them while I can.  So, these are the things I don't know and things that make me confused with this particular season.  

1 - Do we really know the production/editing team well enough to make determinations like other teams/franchises
2 - IMO the New Zealand bachelor seasons they usually don't hide the F1.  IMO Matilda wasn't hidden and either was Fleur.  Naz wasn't a favorite in the house but was open and honest on feelings.   Both seasons played out pretty straight forward IMO.  
3 - Since Jordan's season was such a bust and the franchise is hanging on a thread some say the question to ask is which editing style will redeem this franchise and be put in place to improve it's popularity and possible bachelorette season.  A true straight forward love story or a hidden F1 love story.   I think if we knew what they thought would be best for the franchise then we can stop the noise of confusion.  

When you think about the highlight videos posted on FB and the comments in SM thread about production trying to hide the "smitten kitten" from the start and they can't fool me isn't what the general public is watching unless ALL their viewing audience is on SM, facebook to see those videos.   What the general public sees the previews and the episodes.  Since Viarni has been called and stated "fan favorite" we don't know if the production team thinking is.    So, I keep thinking does the production / editing team tell one story online and then another on TV then that is what makes this a confusing season.  IMO Editing changed because they were editing during filming and things changed from instant strong connections from the beginning to Lily coming out as a strong contender almost half way through as Zac has spoke about.   I think we will begin to see one relationship move forward and the other one retreat on Sunday. If Viarni is the F1 then they have to move her story forward and see a more open Zac about Viarni his feelings for her. If Lily is F2 we will start to see Zac pulling away and/or even Lily pulling away. IMO

I have no answers @4health and to add another element of confusion:

Even if we did know what TPTB thought was best for the franchise and if, for example they, came out and said they were going with the "obvious F1 edit" to please the fans then would that really help us identify F1?  Because among members of this board and through to the wider audience, some see an "obvious" connection with Lily, and just as many see it with V.  

Sigh... Layer upon layer upon layer of confusion.  A confused lasagna.

Idk anymore I think one thing I have learnt from this forum is scaps never lie... and every time I have a fav they always end up as f2 or f3... georgias season though I didn't have a fave and liked both matty j and lee and this helped me see the lead was so in love with lee from the start...so it does help not having a fave imo... this season again I really like Lily and viarni which is awesome but only difference I'm confused because the passion between Lily and zac is off the charts imo so bl I'd pick Lily f1 but from the beginning I could see how in awe/love he is with Viarni which again imo makes him more nervous and awkward with her so I thought yes Viarni is f1...so still confused

Excellent overview thank for the clarification because it is if my heart tells me one thing but the logic tells me something else heart Lily Logic Viarni. The NZ franchise could be at stake in fact it is only because other sponsors came forward that the series was able to be filmed.A lot rests on this series. However, the Lily Zac connection seems so deep. IMO
