Bachelor New Zealand - Season 3 - Zac Franich - Episode Discussion - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

@4health...thanks. I just listened to it and the VO "he is as beautiful on the inside as he is on the outside" sounds like Ally's voice to me. Claudia's voice is more soft pitched than that VO IMO. In addition Hannah also has a VO where she says "he is the most beautiful man I have ever seen" said over Lily, Charlotte and Nina limo arrivals. Not sure what it all means but yeah it could be pointing to Viarni as F1.

@mercieme you are correct the only thing I was looking at and comparing is the start of the weeks to come preview on all the other seasons plus this one. I didn't notice anything remotely similar with comparing the seasons for limo entrances. I just think the preview of the come weeks there is always a hint.

@Karina that is a tough question for me. If I just go off of Art's season preview and compare it to this one there are things that are so different. But, when I re-watch's Art's season recently and remembering Matilda's voice her VO popped out and I went oh duh it was right there the whole time...F1 VO in preview. So, I went and re-watched Jordan's and there are a few VOs but not about the lead except for Fleur at the very end with Jordan kissing her (hidden) but you know it's her since I watched the season. So, I thought well they probably did a VO for this season with the F1 in the preview. So re-watching it now and recognizing the voices more I think it's the two voices. But, "TWO" voices which is different and they happen to be the two that have the early on connection Zac speaks of often, love at first sight. I also noticed that during Art's preview of the season they do not show any scenes with Matilda except for the horse accident but you don't know it's her and her VO comment has nothing to do with the horse accident but it is overlay to that scene. Jordan's season Fleur is shown a lot (back of her head) in the preview but the only kissing scene was with Fleur. Now for this season the preview shows 1:1 times (Bel, Jesse, Taylor, Hannah, Ally, Claudia, Rosie) with the exception of Viarni, Lily, Molly plus no kissing scenes. I really can't say their thinking of the placement of the VO. If you look at the preview and all the dates highlighted but no Viarni or Lily. For some reason my head keeps going to thinking that Zac went in from the start that he would fall in love at first sight. They always show the three girls he has kissed, Hannah, Viarni, Claudia. Zac and Hannah talk about falling in love on first sight. Zac again in a VO waiting for Lily to arrive that slow burn with Lily and his other early connections. So, IMO either it is a season of "love at first sight" Viarni or it will be that Zac learned that love for him didn't come at first sight. We shall see right!

@4health Wow thanks for that amazing amount of information. Do you think that there is any significance in Lily being the only one as far I can ascertain to have an article about her in the Women's Day? as they did several articles about Matilda before the final was aired? They obviously knew the winner, again Zacs IG not following Viarni is too obvious as a clue and Zac saying shhhhh not to tell anyone re Lily    are also too obvious and I just can not see Media Works allowing such an obvious clue to be out there. As you say we shall see.

Since I am in the US it's really hard to see or find articles etc. But, I do remember Matilda being interviewed being posted her in the forum. Matilda was the favorite so everything was about her and tagged F1 and ended up being right.

I finally figured out that this season's edit reminds me of Georgia's season on Bachelorette Australia. Like Zac and Viarni, she had an instant spark with Lee, a single date in episode 3 or 4 where it was obvious they had something (same as Zac and V), and whenever they had little moments on group dates it was obvious there was something there( still like Zac and Viarni) too palpable. The edit didn't show much of Lee until he had his 2nd single date before which they had sped up Georgia's relationships with the other guys like MAtt and Courtney ( Claudia and Lily in this case). I think by the time Viarni gets another date with Zach, we will have serious contenders in Lily and Claudia to keep up the suspense of the final 2.
I see him very shy and boyish with Viarni (just like Georgia was with Lee) and he is more in control of himself with the other girls, so I think Viarni may be his F1.
I also wonder if the reason he didnt kiss her on their single date was because he had eaten a lot of cheese and she clearly doesnt eat it because of her condition (my opinion only)
On the Kayak date, he could have given the special time to the intruder but wanted to spend it with Viarni.
It will be interesting to see how their next 1 on 1 time goes. All MHO of course

Exactly. Whenever Zac is with Viarni, watch his body language and listen to the things he tells are however short time they have. That is clearly the big giveaway. She is the only one he tells specifically that he likes her, he cares, he misses her and also very shy around keep imm. On the preview for next week, When the girls hit boxing GD, they show Viarni take a kick and immediately show Zac all smiles and radiant.

You explained it really well @see2love! That's how I see it. Zac still looks at V with the "wow" in his eyes like he did on M&G.
I also think that Sarah is a contender. On the last CP he seemed wowed by her and he has used almost the same words about her (like for V).---her smile, her beauty & that he would like to spend more time with her. It will be interesting to see how he is going to handle 2 girls who have a lot of similarities. The big difference being age! Will he choose maturity over youth?

Yeah he is into Sarah but I dont think she is a big contender. But thats just me.
Zac's scenes with Viarni are spliced and diced, the conversation before Claudia interupted, the conversations n on their single date and the conversation during the kayak special time. The constant thing is that shes always slmiling afterwards so whatever he said those times must be pleasing to her ears. I also noticed that he tried to hold her thigh during the kayak date but she unknowingly put her leg down so he kept touching her upper arm instead.
He has told her he likes her and he thinks about her and the ball is kinda in her court. He is unsure if she is into him as he is her and I think that will be the obstacle. I remember Georgia being so unsure about Lee  while Matty was very forthcoming with how he felt. Viarni's ITM/ VO this last episodes have been about her not shoing him or making more of an effort to let him know she likes him and is interested.

The splicing & dicing of their scenes is really annoying to me! .I did notice the "mishap" during the Rafting date. I wish they had shown us more from that date. It looked like they had fun.
Yeah, it looks like he isn't sure of how she feels. Explains why he looked super happy she pulled him away on last CP.
I was just wondering ,Do you think the story line for Zac is Love at first sight and him worrying that the girl he likes might not like him back? Now that we know V wowed him at Hello but he isn't sure she really likes him too. This something he said on the MG itm.

So the pattern I see is one of the CP 1:1 chats shown are eliminated the next week.  I bolded the episode of the girl in the CP chat and sure enough they were eliminated the next week.  The only exceptions were the girls that had no rose on 1:1 time from GD or 1:1 date no rose given.  So, if the pattern holds true to form then one of the girls that had 1:1 CP Chat will be the one eliminated in Episode 12 Sunday or someone gets a 1:1 date with no rose and will be eliminated....I just thought that was interesting.
