also perhaps matty isn't as interested in laura or he would have taken her on a 2nd SD...
and maybe sportsbet are in on the hidden elise edit so now she isn't hidden they will make her the best odds?and have leaked laura wins so they don't loose too much money at the start? jmo but @bobette matey get your knees warmed up too! just incase i am prepared to go down the ship too

Too cute!!! The Bachelor instagram also posted a whole heap of photos from their date too. Similar to Elise's but there is an adorable one of them standing at the bus door. @mercieme do you mind posting that photo in here too? I don't know how to!

Hey mate, I assure you, I would absolutely LOVE to be wrong. I would love it if Matty could see past Laura's foxy wiles and sparkly gems, into the heart of our sweet, funny, genuine Elise. I would love it if the show could switch up their cliched editing pattern of F1 strong at the start - hidden in the middle while the loveable F2 emerges - then F1 strong again at the end. And I would especially love for Sportsbet to lose Sh*tloads of money on those 7.5 to 1 Elise bets.

I just don't see any of it happening.

Hi all, first time poster long time lurker.....
Just my thoughts... Matty said his f1 had to look sad, wouldn't this then explain elises response on SM of not giving too much away to look sad? IMO Laura on the otherhand appears to be doing the opposite... Not sad at all.....
In regards to the 'I am in love with you' in the promo - it is definately Elises voice IMO. In past Bachelors doesn't the F 1 always struggle to say it and thats usually their obstacle... And then they end up declaring it usually in the last episode before the FRC? I refer to Richie and Alex who didn't announce it until just before whereas Nikki gave it away well before, Lee was the same - just before FIR in Singapore on their final date where Matty announced it at HTD... And Snez and Anna were the same for their series.... IMO....
The preview for next week says Laura makes her move... This suggests IMO that she declares early? Whereas Elise said she didn't fall in love easily.... Meaning she might not profess her love until the last minute ie. Just before FRC... When it matters???

Yes totally! Elise saying she doesn't fall for people easily. She has said that twice now. First time was at the Medievil date where Leah cut her off and the second at their first SD but she was clearly coming around to it. That will be part of her storyline and the ending will be she finally tells Matty she loves him at the last date.... well in my head it plays out like this!!

Not sure on this but isn't the F1 also always the last voice that says 'Im in love with you' In previous series??

I thought matty was most himself on the elise date... He seemed natural, non scripted, enjoying their banter (to which they had ALOT more IMO than his dates with Laura) plus they have so much more in common... Really not sure what he has in common with Laura??? just cant see it.... Plus there was alot of PDA... IMO demonstrating their ease in each other's company and lack of awakwdness.... This far outweighs the seemingly just physical chemistry between matty and Laura..JIMO....

With Laura it just seems to be a physical attraction but nothing more... He himself said he believes more in love through conversation than just physical chemistry.....

Laura is too contrived... Too poised, considered, and aware of the cameras.. Always trying to be witty and funny... Esp on SM.... She just doesn't come across as natural or as genuine to me.. JIMO......

Isn't it possible that he did change his mind after Elise's date?  Everyone is different and the fact that they keep banging on about how one date can change everything means Matty may have kept an open mind especially when he got his first date with GL half way through.  @Bobette what if he had the first date with F1 half way through because then it would truly be scripted if every F1 had that Ep 3 date. He did say to Elise in the hot tub 'knowing how this is going I wish it was the first first date'.  He may well have had connection up front with her but they may have encouraged him to wait for their SD because there is a lot happening that we're not seeing on screen. Hence the Jen and Leah show.  Maybe now they'll get down to business!!
